Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house is completely remodeled with spacious rooms, luxurious kitchen, and fantastic back yard. The street is very safe with high-end homes and great neighbors. Short walk to Christy Cove Park and Altadena Park. Nestled into the Phoenix Mountain Preserves, this area off the SR51 and Shea is one of the gems of Phoenix. Get downtown or to airport in 10 minutes. Loaded with hiking trails, great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping!
From our fully updated synthetic grass back yard you’ll see a full view of Mountain Preserves. We have a swing, BBQ, patio string lights, kid toys, and all you need to enjoy a relaxing patio vacation. Directly down the street is a big green belt and park where you can play catch or frisbee, or enjoy a nice lunch on the picnic table. Just a few minutes from our front door is the Phoenix Mountain Preserves Trailhead. There are two big parks within a short waking distance with basketball and swings. Our entire home was fully renovated last year. Everything is brand new! You’ll enjoy a home decorated with care. We pay professional cleaners between each renter and always double check to make sure it’s sparkly clean. We take pride in renting. You have full access to our home with new washer and dryer access, an abundance of towels, linens and pillows. The house is perfect for children as it’s all baby-proofed and all TVs and dressers are mounted to walls. Every room has ceiling fans and house has nest thermostat for perfect air circulation and comfort. Home has good clean drinking water through filtration system. Freezer makes filtered ice. All TVs have access to full list of cable channels, YouTube TV, Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc. We do typically allow one small dog. If you plan to be traveling with pets, please just ask and confirm before booking. I like to discuss your dog’s use of furniture, whether they’re crated when away, and some of their behaviors. We have had both good and bad experiences with pets in the home. It is a fantastic quiet neighborhood with great neighbors and corner lot. Only 5 minutes from Paradise Valley Marketplace with Super Target, Costco Marketplace, and shopping center with great restaurants. Less than 15 minutes to PHX Airport, Scottsdale, and less than 10 minutes to so many great golf courses. Close proximity to Cardinals Stadium and Spring Training Ballparks. Pros:
My family stayed here over Christmas. This is a great house in a quiet neighborhood.
The kitchen has a huge counter, making it easy & convenient to prep and serve meals. The stove, oven, and microwave worked great. There was plenty of silverware, plates, bowls, glasses, and pots for cooking. The bi-sectioned living room is large and great for family gatherings. All the couches were clean and comfortable.
The garage was clean and available for us to use. The backyard was clean, and the outside table and chairs was nice to spend lunch at. The bathrooms and showers were clean, and there was some shampoo/conditioner provided if you didn't bring your own. There were plenty of linens, blankets, and towels. I'm usually picky about my mattress, but the beds were comfortable to sleep on. The washer & dryer are old, but worked well.
Whenever we needed something, the house owner was very responsive.
Cons:
The dishwasher was not stellar, and the master shower lever was very tricky to turn on. The shower issue was the most annoying part of the stay, but we were able to make it work.
The large chair in the pink bedroom was a bit rundown: many of the upholstery tufted buttons were torn or loose. I know this last bit is very picky, but I'm trying to give a fair review.
Overall, this was a nice house and we had a pleasant experience. If the shower lever is fixed, I'd definitely stay here next year!

This is a perfect neighborhood close to airport and downtown, close to midtown and Biltmore, ball parks, golfing, and hiking trails. It's a very safe upscale area.
