5/5 Stars – Wonderful Stay!"We had a fantastic stay at this cabin in Lakeside! The property was incredibly clean, and the cabin itself had a wonderful, cozy, and homey atmosphere. The hosts were excellent—very communicative, welcoming, and friendly throughout our trip. The location is perfect! It sits right next to a pond, which allowed us to fish every single day. It is also centrally located, making it quick and easy to get to all the local attractions and things to do in the area.We will absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend this beautiful cabin to all of our friends and family!"
We enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July! Show Low put on some excellent fireworks. The home was perfect for our needs. No air conditioning but the fans and windows open does the trick! We enjoyed watching soccer on the large tv in the living room.
Maureen and Robert were great at communicating and responding quickly. The cabin was so beautiful and we had plenty to of towels etc. The pond is the only issue because they said it was fishable but it isn’t. It’s too mossy and dirty, so if you want a fishable pond this just isn’t it. But the cabin itself was beautiful. We left early to find a more fishable spot. But most people would love this cabin.

Rebbecca,
Thank you for the kind review.
One thing we would like to clarify is that the pond is fishable. There is normal weed and allege growing. We have stocked the pond last year with over 300 fish, including 5 grass eating carp. Other guests have report great fishing. Some reporting they caught (and releasing) 36 fish in a weekend. we are looking to add more grass carp in springtime
Sincerely, your hosts
Robert, Maureen and Liam.
Took my family here for a nice getaway for Memorial Day weekend. Upon arrival we were greeted with a welcoming basket of snacks. The cabin was very comforting with a great view of the pond nearby. Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a getaway.
The property is as advertised. It has a nice and cozy feel to it. The master bedroom is absolutely beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The property is close to restaurants, grocery stores, and there's a lake to fish right around the corner. The only drawback is that there is no AC, but there are ceiling fans everywhere, which is a big help. And when it cools down at night, there are plenty of doors and windows to open. I will definitely be staying here again!
Hard to write a review for this cabin. We loved the location and the view. It is a neat cabin. We had a great time visiting the white mountains. Would love to come back to this rental. Where it gets difficult to rate are some of the small things. I may be spoiled, but not having soap/shampoo for showering was a problem for the whole group. We had to spend our time going to the store to get our own, then had to bring it home afterwards. Not there very long, but everyone wanted a shower, so we had to do that on our own. They did give us plenty of towels, just nothing to wash with. The knives were so dull, we ended up using a swiss army knife to help with cutting and cooking. The bathroom in the master bedroom has no door, so that was a little weird. The oven hood was so low that everyone had to be careful not to hit their head. There were no extra trash bags, so we had to use Walmart bags for trash (or go buy some, but that turns into a similar problem to no shower supplies). The WIFI was great the whole time. Weird seeing a projection TV with a VCR, but we weren't there to watch TV, so that was just a flashback to older days. This would have been a 5 star review except for the small things.
