very scenic however unable to sit outside due to large bees on the patioslider had no screen so unable to open door due to bees steps up to house were unsafe, as you descend, the first step is about 3 inches from second making it hazardous to navigate unless you are paying strict attention. I almost fell the first time I used themInside the provisions were sparse, No paper towels, only one towel per person in bath, both faucets in kitchen and bathroom sink sprayed when turned on.No air conditioning despite being listed as an amenity, washer and dryer had sign on not to use, oven didn’t heat up to temperature set prolonging the cooking process. No BBQ despite one being present in the pictures of the property.Information given as to the proximity of the park was way off. Listing stated 12 minutes and it is actually more like 30 to the park entrance kiosk.Despite numerous references to Sequoia National Monument being only a 2 minute walk we were unable to find it. No materials to be found regarding monument location or info about the park.Stay away from this property. It is way way overpriced and no value for the money you pay

This place is a dump.
Avoid this place!! It was dirty, there were cigarette butts all over the deck and beer bottle caps scattered around outside. When you walk in the door there is an overwhelming mold odor which we realized later was the washing machine. All of the linens smelled of it. In the middle of the night on the first (and last) night we discovered mice. The property manager refunded our second night (we didn’t stay another night) which was good. It was way too much for what we got.

This cabin has since been deep cleaned and the issue with the mice has been addressed. We apologize for the inconvenience these guests had experienced and have worked to ensure future guests are able to enjoy this peaceful home.
We were disappointed with this stay due to multiple issues discovered within the first hour of arrival. While we did not mind the remote location, several aspects of the property did not match the listing and raised safety and health concerns. The listing stated that a washer and dryer were available, but upon arrival both had signs saying “Please do not use.” The first photo of the listing shows a barbecue, which strongly implies one is provided, but there was no barbecue on the property. One of the stairs leading to the second floor was broken and unstable and felt as though it could collapse when stepped on. A closet door was also broken and not functional. For six guests staying two nights in a very remote location, the basic supplies provided were minimal (only a few paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper, and a very small amount of watered down dish soap), which was inconvenient given the lack of nearby stores.More concerning were the health and safety issues. The fireplace produced heavy smoke and did not vent properly. One of our guests has severe asthma, and we were also traveling with a French bulldog, so this was particularly unsafe. Additionally, we found rodent droppings inside the property, which raised serious cleanliness and sanitation concerns.Given the price of the stay and the number of issues identified immediately upon arrival, the property did not meet the standards or expectations set by the listing.
Location is near perfect for the National Parks. Nice cabin. Well appointed. The bedrooms are all clean and comfortable. There are window units in each bedroom that made them cool and comfortable. The property is nice and there is wildlife around all the time (deer, turkeys). Great little bar/grill right down the road. Great deck on the cabin to watch the sunset and critters. We spent a lot of time out there. All that was good.
The not so good. The main living room and kitchen were not air conditioned and got almost unusable in the late afternoon. (Note: the advertisement does not state the place has AC.) Also, the washer and dryer had signs on them saying “do not use”. Lastly, there were a couple mice in the living room one morning. Tough to keep mice out of a cabin in the woods.
Only other thing I’d mention; don’t drive in on Todd Eymann road. It’s pretty bad. Drive in on Badger Road. Quick turn off Badger onto Todd Eymann.
