Nice Stay

This was a nice little apartment for my husband and I to stay in while visiting our daughter for Thanksgiving break. Very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute & Convenient

This is the perfect place for a couple or small family. We brought our 6 month old and felt like there was plenty of room for the three of us. It is very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. We cooked several meals and everything worked great. It is conveniently located within walking or biking distance to just about everything. My only complaint is that the air conditioner is loud, but we would definitely stay here again!

Wow, what a comfortable setting

We had a little trouble figuring out the entry system, but after that, we had a wonderful time in a wonderful setting, very convenient to shops and restaurants. It is a wonderful location. Owners very helpful and responsive to all questions. Will be back soon.

Spacious condo in Ashland, WI

This place was spacious, comfortable, well stocked and clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There is even a fold out mattress which our adult daughter slept on. She said it was very comfortable. It is decorated tastefully and had ample linens. It was easy to communicate with the owner; she responded quickly and had explicit instructions for the entry access as well as the TV and Internet. There are 24 steps which are steep. Other than that, every was just right for us.

Clean Livin'

This is a lovely second floor apartment with fresh Scandinavian-like decor. Very, very clean and new. Comfy bed. Lots of charm. Host is very responsive. If you are a reader of actual paper books and you have a rechargeable lamp, bring it because there are no bedside lamps.

Keeping it Simply

My sister and I stayed two nights to attend a wedding. We found the apartment clean and basic. There was not an over abundance of decorations. There was plenty of space that was clean and well cared for. I chose the spare mattress for the living room floor and found it very comfortable; no morning backache. My sister found the bed very comfortable. I would certainly consider this apartment if I have a reason to go back to Ashland

Lovely - with suggestions

This is a spacious, bright, modern update in a very old building - well done. Good location for our purpose which was to visit Apostle Islands. Also enjoyed the WI DNR Visitor Center. Check in was s bit clunky as the door locks were timed and we were a few minutes early. But if we had a phone number for our host I couldn’t find it. When she responded all was fine but there were a few stressful moments. Suggestions - Add a phone number to contacts French press worked fine - would have preferred auto drip Add a microwave

Property very nicely done. Though I didn't spend a lot of time there and didn't cook at all, I found it modern and comfortable. The bed and bedding was very comfortable, the apartment was well lit and very, very clean. The apartment is bright and sunny and there are both shades and darkening curtains in the bedroom as you can be assured of a cozy night's sleep. Very little traffic noise during the late night - slept very soundly. Communication with the owner was quick and efficient and I would definitely recommend this apartment for a great visit to beautiful Ashland!

We are a family of 6. Scott is an electrician, I am a high school math teacher and owner of STELLA Handmade and Natural, an all-natural, eco-friendly, cruelty free skincare company.
Our family is blended. Our kids are 12, 12, 13, and 14. We love Lake Superior and have always wanted a place near the lake to take our family. We had to think outside the box on this one. It was a completely gutted space. We live in the Twin Cities. Making the 3 1/2 hour drive multiple times a month over the last year, in-between full work weeks and busy kid schedules, has been exhausting but also rewarding. We are so proud of what we have created and we hope you love it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

This property has the best of both worlds. It is only 2 blocks from the Lake Superior marina in Ashland and is also on Main Street, walking distance from many shops, thrift stores, a really good coffee shop, and a really good bakery.
Even though it's in downtown Ashland, it is a very short drive to many outdoor activities that allow you to enjoy Lake Superior and the local rivers that feed into it. It is also a 30 minute drive to Bayfield, the Apostle Islands, sea caves, and much more!
