Weekly price is for 6 people (8 people on the property maximum: $30./day additional for 7th person, $30./day additional for 8th person)
One of a kind: beautiful private 4.8 acres of lakefront in quiet cove with excellent swimming beach on 328' of sandy shoreline. Dock space and mooring can also be reserved. Plenty of space for storing kayaks, canoe or sailboat. 2 miles from boat rentals and picnic islands. Historic buildings include this renovated 4 bedroom carriage house that sits atop the property with long range views of lawns, woods, and lake.

On the ground floor: spacious master bedroom with queen size and single bed, 3 seasons porch* with sliders to small deck and door to one of two covered porches, full bath with tub, open concept dining/living room with many windows and lovely views of outdoors, plus sliders that lead to largest of 2 decks and connects to screened porch, equipped galley kitchen. Second floor: two bedrooms (with one double and two single beds total), large built in closets and dressers, skylights, half bath, small room under the eaves with single mattress, built in dresser and pocket door. Porch, lawn and beach furniture, fire-pit, hammock, lawn and board games, swing set available.

Comfortable home that's popular with writers and artists looking for a private retreat as well as those looking for a great vacation destination for reunions with friends and family. We have also hosted countless wedding celebrations.

Our rental home is priced according to the time of year and the number of people in the rental party.
FYI: The property is on a hill, there is uneven ground in the yard, and the house is not considered handicap accessible.

*Three season porch has separate entrances and its day bed is also a trundle and though a tight fit in the room, can be joined to create a double bed. Additional sleeping accommodations available upon request.

Perfect house for a nice getaway vacation. Very family oriented and a lot of space. Has dock space if you want to bring a boat and also has a nice private beach to hang out and even go kayaking. I would defiantly recommend this house for a nice quiet layed back vacation with lots of fun to go along with it!

Great location for a vacation -- porches & decks galore!

This is a wonderful vacation home for a couple, family, or group! There was ample room for us, with a large master bedroom walking out onto a sitting deck (with a side-room in between perfect for a baby or younger child) out front and covered patio out back (with a grill), while our 16-year-old daughter and her 2 friends stayed in the 2 large bedrooms upstairs that have wonderful light! The kitchen is well appointed, the dining area seats 8+, and the living room was perfect for watching movies on the stuffed couches. My favorite parts were the deck out front where we ate breakfast and the screened in porch beside it with a loveseat rocker that my wife and I lounged in to watch the rain falling. The outdoors are equally enjoyable, with large trees shading a huge yard with an area for evening fires. And just down the hill is a lovely beach with sand gently sloping into beautiful Lake George. Wonderful!

We had a great stay, the house accommodates many and the walk to the beach/lake is very short. The kitchen is small but very well equipped and the owners have been very creative about making counter space. I enjoy cooking and felt right at home. The internet wasn't always consistently working but it was better then not having any. Would stay there again!

We can't wait to go back!

We have been staying at this lovely spot for many years. The owners have been very accommodating of all of our needs and they go out of their way to make sure that each year is a better experience for us. The house has an open floor plan which makes it easy to maintain and helps to ensure that everyone can be comfortable. There are many different bed sizes to meet anyone's needs. The house is secluded yet not far from town. The beach is our favorite spot! We love the long, sandy beach and spend many hours down at the dock fishing, swimming, kayaking and sailing. They even have a mooring and/or dock space that you can rent if you have a boat. The views of the lake are really spectacular. We love the lawn chairs and the firepit up by the house and have enjoyed many evenings grilling outside. The deck is a nice spot to have coffee in the morning or to enjoy reading a good book. Each year we look forward to our summer vacation at this house!
