Lakefront Cottage on Lake George's Northeastern Shore (with wifi)
Enjoy magnificent views of northeastern Lake George from a large deck with a grill and picnic table. The cottage has two bedrooms, including one with an asymmetric bunk-bed (double on bottom, twin on top). This cozy cottage is at the bottom of grassy lawn, just a few feet from the lake. The lake views, sunsets, and spacious property give this cottage a peaceful, relaxing feeling. It is a wonderful retreat.
There is a concrete dock on the waterfront. The lake bottom is sandy close to the shore, and a sandy beach is available a short walk down the road at the Ticonderoga public beach. For larger groups, consider our adjacent property (House on Lake George's northeastern shore), a house with five bedrooms.

This was an excellent get a way for my wife and I. Really enjoyed the cottage and view. The location on the lake was ideal. The lack of A/C made the afternoon a little warm but it cooled down nicely at night.
We all loved our stay at the lake. And greatly appreciated the help in getting back what we left there by mistake. Will definitely try to come back again!
Awesome stay and amazing hosts! We are so pleased and will stay there again!! Great communication and answered anytime!! Great getaway for a fun filled week or just relaxing!!
We had a fabulous week as the swimming is wonderful, the cabin cute and functional with wonderful views at waterfront. Owners great communication and friendly. Bit hot at night given no air conditioning, but we were staying during a big heat wave.. loved it, plan to visit again thanks!
Gorgeous and quiet spot on the northern end of Lake George! Cabin was everything we hoped for and we had the most amazing trip. The only complaint we had was the beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Outside of that we had a perfect vacation !!
Charming place. Steps from the water. Rustic so don’t expect it has all modern amenities. (BYO silverware and cutlery) Spectacular views and owners always available for contact. Loved our time in Ticonderoga
My husband and I stayed here with our 2 sons(ages 10 and almost 6 months). Our 10 year old had a blast swimming out to the rock and fishing for rock bass and pumpkin seeds! He also made friends with the family staying in the house. He sat at the campfire with them and went kayaking with them just about every day! Perfect place on the water!

Not Rustic!
Upon arriving you can expect a 50 yard walk down a hill to unload your car. Upon entering the cabin the curtains, the futon, rugs and bedding were so old, stained and dirty that we had to go out and buy blankets to use to cover them. There were spider webs and eggs sacks inside and outside of the windows. There was so much sap drippings from the pine trees on the deck it was unusable. I tried to clean the furniture but we still ruined any clothes we wore when we sat out. The BBQ's igniter didn't work. The cement dock had no stairs. The kitchen utensil were old and need to be replaced. There is no DVD player.
If this place was cleaned up and updated I would say it was rustic but for now I'm going to say it's disgusting! Look elsewhere to rent.

We are so sorry to hear that you were not happy with our property! This property has been in our family for over forty years, and we are continually maintaining and upgrading the property. In the last two years we have replaced the television, one of the beds, one of the living room chairs, and the water pump (to improve water pressure). For next season we will have new curtains, new rugs, a new futon cover, and new bedding.
We wish you had notified us during your stay, instead of after you left, regarding your complaints. We would have responded promptly, locating the space heaters and fireplace tools, and replacing any soiled items.
However, there are some issues that you've raised that we could not have addressed. The cottage is, indeed, about 50 yards from the street. This is because the cottage is right next to the lake, and the street is farther away. It is a wonderful rental for people who do not mind walking from their parked cars to the cottage, and who enjoy the lake.
Especially in rainy weather, we do get some pine sap dripping onto the front deck, and spiders will build webs and lay eggs, from time to time, on the property. We are modifying our cleaning procedures to hopefully reduce any unpleasant experiences, but we do appreciate your letting our future renters know that there is a real risk of encountering pine sap, spider webs, and spiders, on our property. We encourage the use of butane lighters, or long matches, which we have provided, to light the gas grill.
We hope that others will continue to enjoy the pleasant interior and surroundings. We also note that these particular renter received a substantial refund due to expenses that they incurred while staying on our property. We care deeply about our renters' satisfaction and about the care of our property.
Beach was just a few minutes walk which was perfect for my grandkids. Not great fishing off the dock and hard to get put in the canoe once boats and jet ski came out but grandson enjoyed himself trying.
Peaceful, quiet, no frills spot on the lake. The waves splashing gently on shore were comforting with a sky full of stars at night. Internet and cable were very good. New mattresses would make it much better.
My husband and I had a great time at the cottage and thoroughly loved the closeness to the lake. We spent a lot of time on the deck And our dog loved it too! Would highly recommend!
We had such a wonderful time during our week stay. Perfect size for us and my folks! Owners are super nice and the neighbors were great. The Walmart was sufficient in town,, and the area is rich with history. The town and trails are so pretty. . Loved it!
This property is not very large and the area around the cottage is uneven, sloped, and even a little slippery from the moss as it dries in the sun. The swim dock is about 10 ft wide and the late is about 3 ft deep in front of the property and gradually deepens as you walk out. With all that, the neighborhood and location right on the water was amazing! The afternoon sun can get hot, but the sunsets are ALWAYS amazing. The interior of the cabin was adequate and had a decent selection of pots/pans and utensils. Once again, the location is amazing!
We really needed a getaway and this cottage was just the ticket. The neighbors were nice and quiet, the lake was gorgeous. We swam, kayaked, and hiked. Just a wonderful time.
We rented both cottages and had a wonderful family vacation. Dock was good, quiet street and relatively protected waters for boat and swimming. The only thing was the small beds and tired bed springs but we managed .

Thank you so much for your feedback! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We agree that “Paradise North” is a wonderful name for the houses - the clean lake water, sandy bottom, and quiet neighborhood are all reasons to stay here. We also appreciate your feedback on the beds and mattresses. We recently replaced two mattresses. We will replace three more mattresses this week, repair two beds, and will continue to replace mattresses over the next year or two. Our beds are standard sizes, but we recognize that a double or twin bed can feel small.
