Each bedroom has ensuite full bath. King bath has NEW walk in shower with grab bar. 1 King Bedroom, 1 Queen Bedroom. Rock patio. Firepit with wood provided! Weber Charcoal grill. Laundry Room for guests is located in garage on property.

This cabin was the perfect place for us to relax during our short stay. Our host was exceptionally kind and responsive. The pictures show a great little cabin, but we walked in to overwhelming feelings of peace and relaxation, which was exactly what we didn’t know we needed. I would highly recommend this place and the host to anyone!

Cute cabin

This was a cute little cabin and perfect for our 1 night stay between camp sessions. It was very clean. The decor is super cute and cabin has recently been updated. The only thing that I didn’t realize was that the laundry was shared and not in the cabin.

Waterfall Adventure

Hootin' Henri gave us great access to the waterfalls near Mentone and Fort Payne, Alabama. We enjoyed our time at the cabin and exploring the area. The cabin was conveniently located and had everything we needed. I have recommended this property to several friends who will be visiting that area.

My husband and I are both designers and artists whose focus has been on vacation rental properties along the Gulf Coast and now in the quaint mountain hide-away of Mentone, AL for over 30 years. We enjoy creating spaces that are comfortable and comforting.

Why they chose this property

We consider ourselves "Stewards of the Hollow" and strive to take good care of the land here. Juli's Mom (Henrietta aka Henri) purchased the property in the 90's and spent most of her time here in her last years. It is in honor of Henri (who was a Hoot!) that we share this beautiful space with others, in the hopes that you too will feel the peace that this land offers, and leave rejuvenated and recharged.

What makes this property unique

The wonderful thing about Hoot Owl Hollow is that it feels like you are far off in the woods, yet you are really right "downtown". We use quotes because our town is so small we call it a village. To be so small we have 2 wonderful restaurants in walking distance plus you can pick up snacks, to go casseroles, meats, cheeses, beer, wine at Mentone Market.
