Rosa and her family were wonderful guests. Great communication. Very respectful. I would happily host them again.
It was amazing!!! The staff was incredibly accommodating, on top of things and made my stay so memorable! Amazed at the communication and customer service.
The house has beautiful, traditional design with a pool in the center courtyard connected to the kitchen and some comfy hammocks to relax. The beds are comfortable and 2 bedrooms have their own bathroom and AC. The house cat was so friendly and my daughter loved playing with the cat. Located within a 5 minute walk of parque central and many great restaurants. We enjoyed a carriage ride around the city, a boat tour of las isletas, and an evening trip to the Masaya volcano. Our hosts created a WhatsApp group and were very responsive to any questions.
Pro’s: staff was helpful and helped arrange transportation. House was economically priced Pool was small but nice to have considering the intense heat. Kitchen was large. Deck on top of the house had fantastic views.
Con’s: No TV. One homeless person in the neighborhood acted aggressively

Ed was a joy to host. The communication was great. He and his wife were both very kind and thoughtful with our team. I would strongly recommend renting to him.
Warren and his team made our stay in Granada even better than we could have imagined. Not only is the home lovely, well equipped and just as it was shown in the photos, but staying here comes with a whole team of people to help you make the most of your time in Granada. This was our first time in Granada as a family of 5 from Montana. With Warren's team's help, we set up multiple day trips and learned about the city at a much greater depth than if we had not been stay at Casa Tortuga. Everyone who helped - tour guides, house cleaner, driver - were such incredibly kind and interesting people. It was a joy to stay here and no doubt, we hope to come back some day!

Caitlin and her family were absolutely lovely guests to host. I would definitely welcome them back to our home. Great communicators, very kind to our housekeeper, all around a wonderful family.
We are a family of six that travel internationally frequently; this was our first time in Nicaragua. Warren connected with us before and during our stay.
His staff, assisted us in numerous ways to ensure that any of our needs were handled promptly. They assisted us with a local family that provided garage space for our vehicle, assisted us with recommendations in the area, helped us book tours in Granada, and even assisted with our Ferry reservation for our vehicle, for the second half of our trip.
The house is in a great location for exploring Granada and the surrounding areas. We felt very safe and throughly enjoyed this home.
I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Granada to book this home and we will stay here for our future visits to Granada!!
Absolutely false advertising. Reserved this house for the best man at my wedding... Woke up & he said he didnt sleep in the house. Once I fould out what it was like that morning, I promptly got him a new place Nothing was clean, everything was dingy, dangerous electrical connections, mold in corners, cracks in walls, roof tiles broken & ready to fall on someones head. The pool... is not a pool, it's the size of a jacuzzi but without the benefits & is dirty... to the point that the mosquitoes will eat you alive.
There are holes in the ceilings, water comes in from everywhere & everything gets wet.
There is some sort of 12' tall "storage mountain" comprised of what can only be described as a yard sale fortress.... and its ready to topple over.
We wer eflat out lied to via photos & services. Do your self a favor and walk away from this one. Never again

Some people are just terrible to work with. Brian rented out house for the best man at his wedding. His best man, Jurgen, asked our house cleaner to help him dry clean his jacket. Ad a favor, she took it to the dry cleaner and reported when it could be picked up. He responded that this was fine (via a Whatsapp text). When they realized that it would be too late, Brian accused my cleaner of lying and spoke to her in an aggressive and inappropriate way. Jurgen left the house that morning without a worknof explanation.
I immediately reported the incident to VRBO.
I refunded Brian all of the money that I received from the rental. I would prefer to simply wash my hands of people like these.
As you can read from our other reviews here and on AirBNB, his negative review as full of spite, not facts.

I am an American from Seattle, Washington. Having grown up with Nicaraguans, it was natural for me to move down to Granada after graduating college in 1999. In 2007, I built Casa Tortuga. My wife and I now split time between Granada and Seattle. We are the owners of PURE Gym - Spa - Yoga (www.purenica.com). Our team is doing its very best to create an authentic community of wellness in Granada and Nicaragua in general. We're passionate about health, and helping our friends and clients learn and practice healthy habits like regular exercise, good nutrition, Yoga and meditation....all of which we promote at our center here in Granada. Over the years, we've been blessed to share life and health with wonderful folks from around the world....meanwhile becoming an active force in our local community.
