We had the best relaxing time at this tiny home. The recreation opportunities were amazing. You will most definitely enjoy your stay if you like fishing, paddling on the river, nature hikes and/or bicycling. Communication and friendliness met expectations. We cannot wait to book again.

I’m so glad you are your partner had an amazing time. Please spread the word. Tiny home living isn’t for everyone.. 50 ft from the Mississippi sure helps .. no neighbors., and total privacy is always guaranteed. Again.. thanks for visiting and come again.

Absolutely stellar! We were very excited when we arrived because the tiny house is perfect. The property is beautiful and rustic, very thing we expected and more. The human home owners were very welcoming and accommodating but the real home owners Lollie and Brower were very excited to have us stay. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends. We will for sure be coming back again.

Not bolted to the floor? I’m confused you rented a tiny rustic cabin 50 ft from the Mississippi River., and the bathroom was dated? Not bolted down? Whatever! they didn’t use the free kayak, canoe, paddle boat, paddle boards, or use the free bikes. They didn’t eat the free breakfast. So.. you want the Hilton in a rustic tiny home. Next time.. go to the best western

Bathroom inside is super small and not much privacy as you can hear everything and the ac unit I think is in need of replacing as it didn't cool down in there very well. No running water in the cabin.

1. The ac is 1 week old . That’s a lie. 2. The bathroom was in the residence . Another lie 3. There’s a fully functional outdoor shower . Another lie Why do people book a room, enjoy the weekend, then expect a refund by trashing the place they stay? This is a tiny home next to the Mississippi River. They get free bikes, free canoe, paddle boats, free breakfast, free firewood for a campfire. People amaze me.

So much potential!!!! But…

We were so excited to go here! *great communication prior to our date of arrival- He was responsive, and kind. We arrived and were a little surprised by exactly how rustic it was (brush covered paths, webs everywhere, tons of dead bugs in windows. :-) * futon was jammed tightly stuck when we attempted to make it into a bed. - we were assured it was not broken needed us to remove mattress, crawl behind it & jimmy it. We did, it was broken a bolts had fallen out and we need two people to be able to line it up for use. And the disgusting bugs and more cobwebs behind it were a little more than I did intended to deal with- even rustic. Daniel is extremely responsive when contacted. The extremely disappointing thing, was that we booked the property, intending to utilize the Mississippi river access that it described it had. With kayaks and paddle boat. However, the paddle boat was still on the dock and tied up along with the kayaks as they have been stored for winter. The path to get down to the lake had a keep out sign, so we did verify that it was OK to go down, it was incredibly overgrown and being asked to sign liability earlier makes sense. With all of that, they added an annoyance of a dead remote control and not being able to reach WiFi? It wasn’t a stay that was ready for guests.
Outdoor shower. Nice and hot. But ooof. Needed a good clean!
Lots of rubble.
Broken bed. - worked up a sweat to sleep.
Doc. Taking a picture down there, but I didn’t bring my phone. In my opinion and my boyfriend’s it was 100% unusable.

All issues were solved. My son was on-site to help with the bed issue (after that I am replacing the bed with a day bed with a pull out single) thanks for telling us. Batteries were replaced. WiFi works.. read the book in the cabin for the password. You didn’t didn’t declare you brought a dog.. there’s generally a $40 dollar deposit because of the hair. You had free breakfast.. and access to the river you needed to sign a waiver. It states it on the sign. There’s free kayaks.. free canoe.. free bikes.. free paddle boats free life jackets.. paddles.. everything.. you were offered an interior room in the house but refused.. you smoked on the property.. and brought your dog through the main house unleashed .. I can’t bring joy .. there are miserable people everywhere.. good luck finding your happiness.,

The space is similar to a tiny home. It’s a converted gardeners shed. There’s an outdoor shower and a wood stove. There’s a free continental breakfast. Not a sit down . Free kayaks, bikes, canoe, paddles, and a pedal boat. Just sign a waiver of liability.

Why they chose this property

It’s a historic home with no neighbors in the heart of old St. Cloud.

What makes this property unique

It’s private, old, tons of character, and has a spooky history.
