Located directly on the Indian River Lagoon in Wabasso, Florida sits an exceptional home with nearly 360 degree views of the river and surrounding Mangrove marshes. Osprey Point House sleeps 6 very comfortably with a fully-stocked kitchen and four bathrooms generously supplied with whatever you might need. Besides a game room containing a full-sized billiards table, you'll find various board and card games and a phenomenal outdoor putting green. There is a hot tub, six bicycles, two paddle boards, a kayak, and beach toys are available to play with on our own private beach! Play or just relax in the Florida sun!

This truly is a stunning property! Fair warning - once you get out on the patio, it is very hard to leave! Such a beautiful setup with great views! Dock out back is great for wildlife spotting. Inside of house is immaculate and very well done. Kitchen has everything. We had an amazing time and hope to be back.

The best rental we’ve yet stayed in!

We had a wonderful stay at the property. The house was clean, in great condition and stocked with everything that you could need. The property manager had great communication. If you are looking for a family getaway this is the place the stay.

Vacation Resort!

This property surpassed expectations in every way. We felt like we were staying at a waterfront resort with amazing sunset views. We were able to host my family (also in Vero) for gatherings and dinner. The outside patio, bar, hot tub and fireplace were all used and enjoyed! My daughter even caught a fish of the dock where we regularly saw dolphins. We would highly recommend this fantastic house and hope to be return visitors.

Stunning secluded property

We had a fabulous holiday. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and immaculately clean. Our hosts had thought of everything a vacationer could need while staying, which made us feel very welcome. Dawn is lovely and was always prompt to respond to messages. She was at the house to welcome us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know about the property and surrounding area. There was an abundance of wildlife to see everyday. Thank you once again.

Don’t miss this house!!

Two couples stayed at this house for 5 days. It was beautifully appointed with every thought carefully arranged. We have stayed in more than 20 VRBO homes and none have compared to the amenities this house had. The owner thought of everything a traveling individual may ever need. In addition the house was located in the perfect place to enjoy biking, walking, fishing or simply relaxing. Don’t miss it!!!

One of the best places we've stayed!

This is an incredible property! Isolated location, but close to everything you need - shopping, beach, things to do. Great hosts. Available to all questions or needs and they thought of everything you might need during your stay. Access to kayaks, SUPs, bikes, and even fishing equipment. Let us know about impending weather and rocket launches. Outside deck/patio was amazing and where we spent the majority of our time. Amazing views of the ICW - boat watching, dolphins, and manatees. Lighted dock was great! At night you could see the fish congregating and we had a blast fishing late into the night. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Dawn/Will for a memorable vacation.

Absolute Paradise!

My only concern about giving Osprey Point House a rave review is that I don't want this hidden gem to get too popular! This property is truly unique; tucked away and secluded, but close to the beach and so many other things to do. The rooftop deck, with its beautiful bar, fireplace and hot tub, makes it tempting to do nothing except lounge, though. My family's "happy place" was the private dock. We watched the soaring osprey, were visited by a manatee, and had porpoises circling nearly every day. Dawn and her team took care of every detail and made our stay a breeze. This is how exceptional their hospitality is: At 8:15 on our first morning, I texted asking if there was access to another stand-up paddleboard. Before 9:30am, she had arrived with not one, but two boards! I can't say enough about what a special place this is.

Incredible!

The house and property are amazing and even more so in person. It’s very private and we felt like we were at a 5-star resort all by ourselves. It’s close enough to walk to the beach as we did twice during our trip. The house was super clean, well-organized, and stocked with so many extras to make for a perfect stay. The host and the owner were great people. They were very accommodating, easy to contact, and responded quickly. I used their concierge service to surprise my wife with something for Valentine's Day and it was fantastic. The views from the house were breathtaking and the landscaping around the property was stunning. We were thrilled to see so much wildlife... the dolphins and manatees were out every day. I spent a lot of time fishing off the dock and caught tons of fish. The outdoor area was super cool with a bar, outdoor kitchen, hot tub, fireplace and shower. There is so much to do and see on the property itself that you really don’t have to venture out much. I highly recommend this place… It really is top notch! We plan on returning in the future.

Why they chose this property

This house was left to Will by his father who built it with great attention to detail and with the highest quality materials. We are all very proud of the house itself, but also of the surrounding area, which has great local historical value. The best thing about the house is that it makes you feel like you're in a private resort far from the hustle and bustle. Yet, you're less than 15 minutes from everything!

What makes this property unique

This property is unique in that it is located within a protected preserve of mangroves on a spit of land that sticks out into the lagoon. It is a special little hideaway. If you enjoy watching wildlife and savor privacy and serenity, you will love this property.
