Little Goldmine

Just loved this home in downtown Sacramento. Very peaceful and quiet. Loved having this little goldmine as a home away from home. Hosts were wonderful.

Lovely Second Floor Victorian Duplex

This house is a lot bigger than it seems like it will be but it's also up two very steep sets of stairs. One set to get to the house landing/front door and then another steep, narrow set to get to the Second Floor Apartment/Duplex once inside. It also has varying levels with small steps up and down that are very hard to navigate without tripping. If mobility issues are not a concern, the house is quite cute in the flipper Target décor way that feels familiar as soon as you walk in. The neighborhood is more of an "up and coming" type that we didn't spend a lot of time in. It was a rainy weekend so we did Uber to the areas we were interested in but in good weather, with good shoes and no mobility issues, it wouldn't be a difficult walk to the Capitol and midtown sites. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were able to make ourselves feel at home and relax to enjoy our weekend together. It's not super well stocked yet with staples and the choice of cooking pots/pans wasn't abundant but we managed to cook some fun meals when it was too stormy to go out. The host was friendly in messaging and responded to our questions and concerns quickly. One of our guests left something important behind when we checked out and they were quick to help us get it shipped back quickly.
