Lakeside view at Camp Golden Pond and affordable lodging for Penn State Events.
Located in Petersburg, this holiday home is in a rural area and on a lake. Warriors Mark Historical Society and Isett Acres Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Happy Valley Winery and Penn State University's Blue and White Golf Courses. Kayaking and power boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with ecotours and hunting nearby.
This was a great place to stay for the hockey game at Beaver Stadium. There were a couple of issues related to the snow and extremely cold weather, but Dawn went well out of her way to accommodate our group and make sure we were situated. It's about a 30 minute drive to downtown and Beaver Stadium. I highly recommend this campground for any size group.

Thanks again and hope to work with you in the future!
Overall a great place to stay if you have a large group and not too worked about the location. The host made the check in process good and everything worked out for us!
It’s really fun , safe and natural beauty location . Hopefully come back soon for boating . I enjoyed hiking around . Overall everyone enjoy campfire with barbecue.

So glad you all enjoyed your stay! Can’t wait for your next visit!
Our group had traveled from around the country to the area for a Penn State football weekend. We found this to be an idyllic stay away from the hectic post-game traffic. Communication was timely and flexibility was appreciated. Wish we got to stay longer!

Thanks for the great review! Please keep us in mind for the future! We have accommodations all year round!
We took a group of high school students for a fly fishing trip. The property was perfect for the group. They fished on the pond, played soccer, made s’mores, and played ghost in the graveyard. We would come back!

So glad you enjoyed our camp! It was an honor to have you. Please reach out to us again in the future and tell your friends!
We were met at the property by Sharon, who showed us the cabin and gave us the keys for our stay. We were able to comfortably all spread out and spend time together, with plenty of room for the 14 of us. Beautiful location along the lake, and secluded; but not too far from town! Thank you again!!

Thank you so much for your stay and review! We hope to see you again in the future, maybe visit us in the no snow months to see the rest of what we have to offer such as canoeing on the lake or some archery or a hike!
Remember going to camp as a kid? This location is exactly that- right by the lake, with a place to have a fire and relax. We were only able to stay 1 night but for big groups who are cool with a camp-like stay, it’s a great deal. FYI depending on your carrier the cellphone reception is minimal, which personally I think makes it even more like a no-cellphone camp atmosphere that I appreciate, but our teens of course struggled with that! Sweet back deck with a swing we enjoyed.

Place was poorly maintained. Mouse poop on countertops, in drawers, and in closets. Heat in room with 2 doubles did not work. Purchased firewood that was not chopped.

Beautiful location and host , but many back/windy roads to PSU
We were greet by a super sweet lady, Sharon who showed us around the property. I would not
Consider this property as “having all the amenities of home”’as there is no WiFi, couch or tv” but it’s the perfect place for. “Camping” style trip as the mattresses are very thin. There are No places deliver food to this location so make sure to bring everything you need as the closest store is about 25 minutes away. Also a little further of a drive to PSU as we realized.
We will definitely be checking it out in the summer as it is a beautiful location and property with the pond. Sled riding would have been awesome in the winter. It really was a nice place, just know what to expect.
