Family vacation time

We stayed 6 nights, rental its self is very, very nice. Alot of steps for us older people but it was vacation not permanent. Loved the location not far from anything but not right in city. Only down fall is the cleanliness and having to go get washclothes and dish towels that were not provided. We enjoyed our time together as family, but for price I would have expected alot more cleaner!!!

Stinky Dishwasher

Overall, house is ok. Our rating is mostly based on a problem with the dishwasher that didn't get resolved. The kitchen wasn't sufficiently cleaned prior to our arrival. There was food left in the stove and the dishwasher was full of dishes. When we opened it, the smell was so bad that it traveled all thru the house. We closed it up and left it closed the remainder of the stay. I messaged the manager and asked that someone come out to look at it as well as dropping off some hangers. I received a call from a gentlemen who said he was there and he didn't smell anything, but he would run the dishwasher again. He also said he left some hangers. When we arrived home, we didn't see the hangers and the dishwasher was in the same condition. I messaged the manager again to let him know that the person may have gone to the wrong house, but he didn't respond. We were checking out the next morning so that may have been the reason he ignored my message, but he should've at least acknowledged the message and apologized for the inconvenience. We only stayed 2 days and didn't' cook, but we would've like to have access to the dishwasher. Pro- A lot of bedrooms and bathrooms/ bathrooms to accommodate large groups. Cons- No dressers or cabinets in the bedrooms (or even outside) to put purses/ keys. Luggage had to sit on the floor and since the rooms are small, you have to literally jump around them. Limited hangers between the 4 rooms. Bathroom carpets were dirty.
