Located on a 4 acre property with several other cabins, this cabin feels private and has beautiful ad relaxing scenery. While small it has all the necessities to Sleep, eat, cook, grill, and relax!

Cabin was well laid out and exactly what we needed to this trip. Everything you needed was available and in working order (including a crockpot and even salt/pepper) Steve is an excellent host. Easy to communicate with and exceptionally helpful during the reservation process. We had a great stay and this cabin is a good base of operations for any adventure near Giant City or on the Wine Trail.

It was very nice and quiet. It was within 10 minutes from SIU and downtown Carbondale. It was clean inside. The one bedroom sleeps four people. But we did have to pay extra for our third guest. But it was very comfortable. Owner came by very nice person. Told us if we needed anything to just text him and he would take care of it.

Great location off of route 51 that gets you to all the fun on the wine trail and allows you get to a bunch of different stuff to do outdoor. Enjoyed our stay 4th of July Weekend 2025!

A very simple cabin in a great spot for those heading to Cedar Lake, or other area lakes, hikes, or adventures. Though the cabin is a bit dated, and worn from years of travelers passing through, it functioned perfectly for me on my short stay.
