Location Location Location. Steps to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. Russ was very helpful and replaced a broken beach chair and umbrella the same day. Unit has everything you need. Right beside Maguro Spot…. Best Poke in Waikīkī.
This property was perfect for our stay. The host was great and everything was as described. Close to the beach, rooftop pool and hot tub were great, enjoyed having some chairs and umbrellas provided with the property. Would highly recommend this property!
The property is as pictured, we very much enjoyed the large balcony and ample space in the unit for our needs. The location is ideal with restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores all within a block or two (and of course the beach). Owner was great to communicate with and we had no issues at all.
Apartment was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect. Close to Waikiki beach. The bus was across the street, so you can get around if you don't have a car. Would highly recommend it.
Good price/value for what we got. We enjoyed eating outside on the lanai each morning at the full-sized table. (Much more enjoyable than the very narrow balconies at the place across the street!)
Good location, good communication with owner. Would recommend.
Remodeled apartment with nice touches. Outside lanai with sofa was an added bonus. Owner was attentive and caring. Quick response time to all questions. Had a wonderful birthday and stay in Waikiki!💗
The property looked as described in the photos, but there was a cockroach infestation. We had dozens of them come out every night, they were coming out of the cabinets, under the fridge, and by the sinks. We contacted the host about it, but didn’t get a response till 3 days later. We left early and booked a hotel. German cockroaches, and tons of them.

Cockroaches are a thing in Hawaii and there is nothing I can do about that other than what I am doing. The building sprays for bugs quarterly and I contract with Orkin to spray monthly as an extra precaution. In fact the Orkin team was there the ay before your arrival and what you probably saw was begs feeing the area.
I object to the statement that I didn't respond for 3 days, totally wrong. I communicated with you immediately and in fact so did my onsite gut Julio. You texted me on Sunday the 27th at 8:04am and I responded back to you that same day. I offered you to change locations to a larger 2 bedroom unit at no additional cost, you accepted.
I bent over backwards to make thing right with you and your family.
Next time maybe you should choose the Ritz Carlton
I ask everyone to check on all prior reviews for me an this unit is you will see that you are the only one to make this complaint.
I take this situation very seriously,
And thank you also for fling a complaint with VRBO, the investigated it and dismissed the complaint.
We enjoyed and loved staying in this property! We appreciate the constant communication with the property manager. We loved getting acai bowls down the street, coffee at Kona Purveyors, poke right across the street, musubi downstairs, and korean food truck next door. The beach is only a few mins walk. The condo is very spacious and clean. We only have 2 complaints but did not deduct any stars: there was a musty strong smell that lingered for 2 days and they were doing construction on the lanai. We would definitely stay in this property again.

Condo itself is very compact, maybe 500 sq ft. However, it had everything you need, including a full kitchen, dining table, pull out couch, and balcony with lots of room. Beach gear is supplied. The property manager and his assistant are very helfpul and were available when we needed them. The rooftop pool area is unreal and the condo is very conveniently located in central Waikiki, just a block to the beach. Would love to stay here again.
Close to ocean, restaurants, and shopping.Overlooks a busy street, 10th floor, with really poor sound proofing on windows- very loud. Whole apartment is in disrepair and beaten up- broken towel rack, moldy and peeling grout, plugged shower drain, paint chipping off bathroom vent. Took 4 days to get the shower fixed. Spent way more time trying to deal with that than I should have. Very non-responsiveOwner and on-site property manager when needing help (e.g. no response when we used up the 1.5 rolls of TP provided and requested more).Rooftop pool was closed for month before and after our stay; owner didn’t mention in posting, then acted like he was a victim.Would absolutely not return. Worst VRBO I’ve ever rented.

I'm sorry to read this review from you, worst VRBO you've ever rented? look at all my previous reviews, you must be kidding. This condo was completely renovated in 2023 and you're are calling the whole apartment in disrepair? and beaten up? there is NO moldy and peeling grout, NO paint peeling on the bathroom vent, and yes, we had a problem with the drain, my handy man was there the very next morning after you told me about it, first tried draino, then came back with a snake, the called a professional plumber who snaked it even farther, it was not a problem with my bathroom but a clog in the building itself, but yes, it is my responsibility.
I resent the fact you are calling me a non responsive owner, feel free to review ALL of my previous reviews and see you ever EVER read that about me. I bent over backwards to try and fix this for you immediately and all you ever wanted was a $100 per day refund. I suppose if I would have done that for you and given you a 1 bedroom condo in Waikiki for $50 per day you would have written a glorious review. I hope other owners read this review of you before renting to you in the future.
This was a great home base! We came to see the campus of University of Hawaii & I had some business to take care of while I was here. The location is central for access to all public transit, there’s great parking here - as I had a car for the couple of days.
The kitchen was good enough to go shopping for the week and create a home base here for meals.
The beach is a block away for an afternoon swim and relaxing - beach towels & beach chairs/stuff included.
The bed in the condo overall was super private in the evening and very open and sunny in the day time.
The air conditioning works great, the window unit keeps the entire apartment fresh and relaxing during the hotter summer.
The beds are good, the bedroom one is comfortable and relaxing. The pull out sofa is little too soft and the bars end up hindering a good nights sleep - so we ended up using the couch as a bed for my teen and that worked fine.
The patio/Lani was excellent! It was where and how we’d do meals and morning coffee. It’s another private space away from the apartment any time of day. It’s a main reason I’ll be coming back.
The shower is nice, water pressure is good and the hot water is nice…& consistent.
Overall the condo is a little dated, but clean & a good home base. That is why I gave it 4/5 stars.

Disappointing check in
The apartment is as described and in a really fantastic location, close to the beach and an abundance of shops / restaurants etc. The balcony was big and a nice place to relax. However, the host emailed me a day prior to check in to ask what time I was checking in the next day. I told him 4pm. We arrived just before 5pm and hadn’t received any check in information. We’d been communicating via email and the check in info was not available on the Vrbo app. I emailed and called to ask for the check in information on arrival, which really should’ve been given before we got there. 10 minutes after we arrived, chance would have it that someone had come to replace the soap and was able to let us in. I never received a response to my email asking for the check in details and wouldn’t have got into the apartment had it not been for the person arriving to leave soap. The lack of communication is absolutely not okay. Thankfully I was with a friend, but usually I’m solo travelling. What if I couldn’t have got in contact or get into the apartment? I never even received a response to my query regarding check in. I would’ve had to find another property to stay in had this guy, who wasn’t the person I’d been communicating with over email, not arrived randomly. If I’d have checked in at 4pm as I’d originally said, I would’ve missed the guy turning up to even let us in. No wi-fi password provided either until the next day. Please ensure this is smoothed out for future guests.
