Peaceful location, beautiful property, and everything was exactly what we expected from the description. Checkout process was extremely simple and the owner responded quickly to all messages.
Everything about our stay was perfect. The location is stunning with an amazing view from the living room of the Sound. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is extremely well-stocked, and it was incredibly quiet! Highly recommend staying.
We loved our stay. The house itself is cozy and comfortable, incredibly clean and well stocked. We LOVED the porch with the gas fire table and amazing view, as well as the private beach. We definitely hope to come back!
Each year we do an annual cousins oyster weekend. This was a great place to stay for spending time at the Hama Hama Oyster Saloon. Wonderful kitchen to cook in. Great place to just hang out and enjoy good company with a spectacular view.
My family and I (5 adults) absolutely loved our two-night stay for a relaxing family weekend. The view is magnificant from the deck and the dining room/living room windows. The house was imaculately clean and supplied with plenty of everything. Even the pantry was stocked with more items than I have ever seen in other vacation rentals that I have stayed in. We enjoyed the fireplace and playing games. This property is close to good restaurants, stores and hiking locations. We will definitely reserve the Eagle Point Cottage again!!
We had such a magical stay here. Every morning and evening we had a front row seat to so much wildlife activity visible from the deck and the private beach. I would recommend visitors to bring binoculars if they have any. We were able to spot many bald eagles, herons, seals, otters and even orcas passing by.
We thoroughly enjoyed all the fire place options available, the kitchen was very well stocked, and it had everything you needed. Plus we were able to enjoy it all with our pup which was the best part. We will definitely be back :)
Eagle Point Cottage on Hood Canal was everything we expected and more. Very clean, cozy, peaceful, comfortable, charming home with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Favorites are the great firepit outside and cozy wood fireplace inside (both enjoyed the end of September) Canal water views, sunrises, and sunsets are beautiful, along with seals hanging out on the water rocks behind house. Everything on the deck including the firepit and grill were clean and extra gas tanks provided. House is easy to find and access, very peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay that’s within an 1+1/2 hr drive to ONP and other local falls and viewpoints nearby. Cassandra has always been helpful.
Perfect Getaway on Hood Canal - tons of nearby hiking trails
We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this beautiful home in Brinnon with our lab! From the living room and balcony, the spectacular water views of Hood Canal made us feel like we were on the bridge of a ship. Even in winter with snow on the ground, the balcony is perfectly positioned to get morning sunshine and it was warm enough to be out in just a T-shirt while enjoying breakfast al fresco. There was an adult bald eagle perched on a nearby tree each morning. In the evenings, we used the outdoor grill to cook salmon and steaks. The fridge is huge, stove, toaster, coffee grinder and maker worked perfectly. They even supplied us with everything to make s'mores! We slept on the king bed which was comfortable. The house is perfectly situated for outdoor adventure. We hiked Ranger Hole, Duckabush Wildlife Area and Dosewallips State Park. The dog and the humans all give this house a 5-star rating!
We loved our visit to this beautiful home. Upon walking in, we were immediately put at ease by the spotless appearance, gorgeous bedding, and little touches to make our weekend getaway feel luxurious and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, there are light blocking curtains, sound machines, and coffee! Our kids are already plotting a return trip during warmer weather to make use of the kayaks and warm-weather amenities. We especially enjoyed having a gas fireplace outside to sit at, watch sunsets, chat, and stay warm at while using the grill. The internet was slow (but expected) and it was just what we needed to promote family game time (lots of great options provided!), talking, s'mores making, and cooking (tons of spices, oil, salt, pepper and more). We enjoyed hiking Lake Lena and were blown away by the Hamma Hamma Oyster Saloon. Dogs are welcome, but you'd never know it--the home was spotless and didn't have any smell to it. Thank you Cassandra for your awesome communication, stellar recommendations, and all the little additions you made to the home that make this the best that VRBO has to offer! To note--there weren't any other VRBO reviews when we booked this, but there is a long guestbook of thrilled guests in the home that must have booked through other platforms. This host knows how to host! :)
