We had a great stay! The cabin was clean, welcoming and cozy for a weekend away. The outdoor space was amazing for a campfire and we found trails not too far to hike. We loved our weekend!
The most unexpected part that left a lasting impression was the Sasquatch in the woods. The cabin had everything we needed, the area was quiet and felt very private yet close to the stores. The host was very responsive and helpful! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
Beautiful location and very nice cabin. The electric fireplace is super nice! It was clean, smelled good, nice kitchen, very happy with the rental. No complaints at all!
Great hosts, nice cabin, above average thoughtfulness to outdoor amenities. Enjoyed our stay and interactions with the hosts! Will definitely revisit when the opportunity arises.
We were thrilled with the cabin. The coziness was just what I had imagined. The location was great to restaurants and to Cooks Forest for a beautiful hike.
My husband and I spent our Anniversary weekend at Maple Villa. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Pictures do it no justice. It is so comfy and cozy! The bed is like cotton balls. We are looking forward to visiting again in the Spring to explore. Thank you Brittany and Johnny! I highly recommend staying here. If I could I would give them 100 stars!
We had an amazing time! The host was so friendly, and gave us the run down of the property...The land itself was beautiful, offering trails we were able to walk our dog on, and all of the activities that were available were much appreciated! The cabin was gorgeous, clean and had everything we couldve asked for! Although it rained, we still made the best of it, and had an amazing night away...Thank you!!! WE WILL BE BACK YEARLY!!!Sincerely, Heather, Jamie, & Echo

Pros Host checked in to make sure arrived. We were provided with firewood. They allow pets for a feeConsThe backyard was not completely fenced and faced a public street and our dog wandered to the other side before we realized. My boyfriend had to clean out the firepit because it was full of soot and broken glass. The road was relatively busy and noisy and there were residential homes on the other side. The futons in the cabin were not comfortable. Since the weather was getting bad and we would need to stay indoors, we decided to go home after two days of our four day stay. There are no decent places to dine in marienville.the itilian restaurant is closedand their mobile food truck was out of everything. We went to some Shamrock restaurant down the road from our cabin and the food was cold and soggy..completely inedible.

Thanks for the feedback. Property isn’t fully fenced, so pets do need some level of supervision. Firepit has been cleaned.
Unfortunately we haven’t figured out how to control the weather or the town’s restaurants yet…Marienville isn’t exactly known for its culinary scene..and most guests come for the woods, not a Michelin star.
We had a nice weekend and enjoyed the location of the property. A short drive to Allegheny & Cooks Forests. The cabin was very clean. We had fun playing Wii I. The evening.

We had a great time, the cabin was great. We were bummed that the pictures showed swings by the fire pit but here that was only at a certain cabin. The big foot and axe throwing were great. Communication was hard, we did not have much success communicating through the app. We were thankful that we ran into Johnnie on site and he gave us some ideas on where to visit during our stay.
Cabin was clean, quaint and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Enjoyed the front porch and backyard fire pit with seating. The deer that passed through the property was a special treat. Wish the area had more options for eating out, groceries but the remoteness was part of the chatm
Cabin seemed pretty new. Brittany the owner was very accommodating . This cabin is basically for 2 people . The couches are very hard, and not much bigger that a twin. There are no tea towels, or any bowls. But there is free axe throwing, which was fun. It was quiet there, and we even saw an albino deer a few times. There are bikes to ride on the nearby Rails to trails.
We stopped at this sweet cabin on our way across country. It was clean, comfortable and very private. There was plenty of room for the dog to romp and we grilled steaks on the outdoor grill and enjoyed the end of the day from the rocking chairs on the porch. If we come back this way, we will certainly stay here again.
This will be a Forest Villas very first season in service! The founder is named Johnny, and I am Brittany, co-owner and property manager. We met the first season of our other property, and I was fortunate enough to be able to help shape and mold everything we offer our guests. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service, quick response times, and of course customer satisfaction. This is our first raw land commercial development. It has been an amazing amount of work, and more rewarding than I could have anticipated.
Johnny was raised in this area and has a insiders understanding of not only how to provide the best experience for the guests, he is also a great resource if guests are looking for something in particular. He is a loving father (Pic above), dedicated businessman, and a truly talented visionary.
I came to this area three and a half years ago on a nursing contract, and rented one of his units. It wasn’t long before I was presented with the opportunity to be part of this special company. Since then, it has been an amazing adventure. We take pride in what we have created, tho being able to provided a home away from home, a space just waiting to see what kind of unforgettable memories you'll make, has been the most special part. We can't wait to host you too!
Why they chose this property
Amazing location conveniently located off Rt 66. Easy access to town and minutes away from a plethora of activities from wine tastings, to hunting and fishing, or simply relaxing in the river after a hike in the woods. Recently renovated and jam-packed with amenities; we can’t wait to share our space with you.
What makes this property unique
We pride ourselves on being available anytime a guest needs us with a 100% response rate on other platforms and donned with a Super Host title! While this cabin and listing are both new to VRBO, we can’t wait to fill up the reviews. Being able to provide you with an amazing experience is at the core of our passion.
We are located between the Allegheny national forest and the infamous cooks forest. There are several trails of varying degrees of difficulty and composure. We are very well known for hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling as well. If that is not your cup of tea, we are only a few minutes from the Allegheny National River. Pick a Cove and jump in or along the river front, there is a canoe/raft rental company that also provides transportation!
While in town most any essential need is available and the small close knit community will make you feel like family. Marienville is truly a hidden gem!
