The location and the views were fantastic! The upstairs bedroom was nice and the downstairs shower had amazing pressure. My only complaint was the carpet in the basement was stained and disgusting. So much so, that I bought a pair of slippers to wear in the house. Otherwise, it was a great rustic cabin with a lot to offer!

Wonderful Week Retreat

We were so stressed when we arrived at this beautiful home. Within an hour, we were calm and so happy in this lovely location. I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful beach retreat!

This was a great property. We enjoyed our stay and explored neighboring towns. Are only concern was steep steps for our aging dog Sammy. He was a trooper but was tired at the end of our stay.

Wish we could have stayed longer

Really loved our stay here, loved all the windows and the coziness of the living room. I would suggest new deck chairs since 2 out of the three are broken in more than one area. We had a great time staying here for my birthday and all wished we could afford to stay longer than 3days.

Great location

Right on the beach. Cross the beautiful sandy grass dunes to a beautiful wide beach. You can view the stars easily at night as it gets so dark. Close to Cape Perpetua and hiking trails. While it was pet friendly it did not smell like pets at all.

We loved the location, direct beach access and a sweet, quiet community. Only complaint is there is no overhead lighting in the living room and dining room space, and the lighting that was on the walls was hard white lighting, so playing games and doing puzzles was a bit difficult.

Best vacation house.....

It was the cutest beach house. Perfect location. It just came with roommates...ANTS!! They were in the kitchen and dining area. It didnt ruin our stay, but it made things difficult with our food. Also, maybe dust and get rid of spiders and cobwebs before the next tenant. Otherwise its a great place to stay.

The property has a wonderful location adjacent to the beach. Though clean, the home smells of pet urine. Rugs and comforters reeked. Kitchen is bare bones and the furniture is very dated. Not worth the price.

Bell Oregon Coast vacation property review.

Great location with fantastic beach access. Pool at the club house was very nice. Plenty of room for us (husband & wife w/ two teenagers). Kitchen is very small. Cleanliness was so-so. Lots of dust noted on light fixtures and window sills in kitchen. Wet towels were in the dryer when we arrived. Shower drain on upstairs level needs to be snaked.

Loved the location although the walk to the beach through the sand dune area was tiresome with a 17-month-old and being pregnant. Great sand to play in. The downstairs bedroom is VERY noisy with any walking or talking upstairs so I would NOT recommend this for families that have different sleep times or preferences.

Beautiful home with direct beach access

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mi fiance and I rented this place for a weekend and absolutely loved it. We plan on renting this house again with a couple friends. It's fairly spacious and is a short walk from your back door to a relatively unpopulated beach. It has nice heating but also has a wood burning fireplace which is rare for a rental. A few pairs of functional binoculars were great for whale spotting.

When we first drove up, saw the peeling paint & overgrown yard not a good first impression. Was very musty smelling at first, but we’re able to air out upstairs rooms. 2nd bedroom was in the basement, very musty & damp; cement floor with rugs that smelled of pet urine. Shower curtain was flimsy so water drained onto floor. Grill was stored in basement bedroom and since we didn’t have access to garage had to be put in front entryway after using it. Bathroom upstairs shower doors leaked onto floor. Big bay windows for great views of the ocean & sunsets. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. Great deck to sit & enjoy being outdoors.

Peaceful Retreat

I was on my spring break and i was in desperate need of unwinding. The panoramic view from the couch was everything i didnt realize I needed. I optes to sleep on the daybed. I cannot begin to deacribe the aound of the waves at jight. The view of the stars from my bed. It was perfect. The walk to the beach is short, my parents who are getting older would struggle with the hilly parts and the loose sand. But kverall..highly impressed!

Cool funky house

We enjoyed our stay. A couple of things to note. The downstairs bathroom heater is not working. We lacked some basic provisions that are important for cooking. Lighting could be better throughout the house. We found it hard to read our books. But overall enjoyed the house.

Older beach house

This is definitely a quirky house with a lot of thrift store finds. The home has a very odd lay out with a tiny kitchen and tiny bathrooms. The water pressure was nice, but the hot water does not last at all. The pool hours are very restrictive and if you want to go swimming it’s going to cost you with some cash. I’ve stayed at clubs like this and there was always a pool pass left for the guests.

Could also use some extra kitchen tools (scissors, measuring spoons, etc.) An extra dinning chair for the table as would have been nice as well to fit a family of 5. Otherwise a great place to stay and enjoy the coast!

Needs a deep cleaning

Arrived at the house and the code did not work for the door lock. Called the rental company and they got somebody out quickly. That was the most positive part of our experience. The house was dirty. Dust, cobwebs, even a rat turd under the day bed! The basement bedroom was dank and smelled a little like a musty old house. Location on the beach was nice at least. We would definitely not rent this place again.
