Had a fantastic week staying here. The property and location were as, if not more than we expected/hoped. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and had a variety of comfortable of outdoor spaces to relax after a day on the amazing beach. The bedrooms were comfortable, and we barely noticed the walls were left in their original state. Great location for everything from going on a run, to walking for dinner/drinks. The owners were very easy to communicate with and very friendly. We will definitely be back.
This very well-kept cottage is close to the water in a relatively secluded location. The owners are very responsive to questions and extremely nice people. We would certainly rent from them again.
My family was so comfortable in this supremely located, and adorably decorated cottage. Communication with Tony and Amy was simple and our adventures down at the beach were endless. This cottage was great for small children as well and accommodated our entire clan with ease. The additional touches were so appreciated.. flowers, wine, board games ;)..
We would absolutely stay here again. xoxo
Incredibly clean and comfortable cabin. Really great beach access. Owners provided beach umbrella, chairs and cooler. We rented both cottages and had a fantastic week with four families.
Just loved the location with plenty of cozy nooks for morning coffee or reading a good book with fantastic lake and sunset views. The cottage was super clean with a well stocked kitchen and the open floor plan provided lots of space for meals with the family. The beds upstairs were super comfortable and we just loved the traditional cottage style open bedroom ceilings with flatscreen wall mounted televisions in every room . There was also a nice space upstairs to lounge with more great views of the lake. An added bonus was the private beach area with easy access with very friendly neighbors. The owners Tony and Amy were super nice, very helpful and quick to correspond with any questions. We truly enjoyed our stay and we will be back!
Great property. Excellent layout of cabin and easy access to beach. Very comfortable inside and lots of outdoor seating options. Note that the one bathroom is on the main floor and bedrooms are on 2nd floor, but did not cause an issue for us. Great communication from owners and very clean cabin and quiet area.
Perfect sunset views. We had a great week. Beach was small due to high water but still plenty of space for little ones to play and mom to catch a few rays of sun. Would recommend this for a fun family escape. Just a short walk to the city beach and nut much further for that great ice cream.
Kitchen and bathroom very modern and up to date. Parking very convenient. Very pleasant overall. No AC, but fans provided.

Adorable beach cottage
Incredibly cute cottage just a few steps from the sand. Owner was very nice and helpful...even when we’d neglected to bring a few things we needed.

Great location. Steps to lake. Very clean and updated feel. Easy set up.
Exceeded expectations in being a cabin but very clean and simple. Lots of tvs, good WiFi and connectivity. Fantastic location- easy walk on beach to the pier and walk or short drive to restaurants in town. Should plan for one bathroom and that no privacy among upstairs bedrooms so a bit like camping. Wonderfully convenient and easy beach stay.

Absolutely stunning wonderful neighbors clean home warm feeling
We had our first family vacation with 6 month old and 3 yr old girls. we’d like to return annually thats a huge compliment considering the master bedroom mattress was beyond uncomfortable it was Like sleeping on the ridge of a hotdog with your wife buried in the middle funny at first but then became an issue. I went downstairs and slept on the couch 2 nights out of 6. However the access to the beach and the humble neighbors more than made up for the lack of sleep as the rest of the family did sleep well in all the other rooms regardless of the heat fans helped blinds needed upstairs yet we had a blast. The location was perfect and the place was well kept with deep family roots all around. I would come back next year and send referrals as long as the mattress was replaced with a new one. long sunfilled days with the family requires proper sleep. Also the people that own it are very kind so much so I’d be whiling to donate a ceiling fan to the master bedroom in exchange for good nights sleep. The grill and kitchen was excellent for any proper cook we had some tatsy meals with easy parking to unload groceries and access to the beach for dessert. Great place don’t hesitate to rent this one out just as long as we have our week booked 😉

The cottage was perfect. Clean and beds were comfortable. View of lake was beautiful!
81 steps to the beach with a gradual incline!. Water level was high so beach was very small. Adirondack chairs provided on the dune at the beach were very nice. Large cement pad for kids to play was great! When they say bring linens they mean bedding, towels, washcloths, bath mat and kitchen towels!! Also blankets! Kitchen had everything we needed and fridge was big. We had a great time and even saw a mamma deer and her two babies!! Road bikes to town and to State Park beach. Grand Haven is a great little town!!

Great place/location!
The home is comfy and quaint. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived.
It's perfect for a family as you have plenty of option to keep the little ones occupied.
The large drive way with basketball hoop and grill was perfect for the kids to be outside but yet still in eyes view. And obviously the best part was the walk down to the private beach.
We just loved the views and solitude. We would defiantly recommend and hope to be back in the future.
Ps owners were great to work with. Very accommodating and response time was quick.

comfortable, clean and convenient
My children and I spent a week at this cottage. We were all very comfortable in the house and the location near the lake can hardly be beat. The beach was clean and is very close to the heart of town, so events, dining and shopping were easily accessible. With the exception of one, we found the Grand Haven shop owners and employees to be very friendly and helpful. We also took advantage of the nearby Muskegon airport for one latecomer to our trip. The airport was very close by and, though small, seemed to be well maintained and his flight arrived on time! I would recommend this location and may even book my trip for next year early.
