The patio is furnished with two Adirondack chairs, a table, and an umbrella, offering a serene setting to revel in the soothing sounds of crashing waves. Enhancing your experience, a fire pit awaits for cozy gatherings and a charcoal Weber BBQ stands ready for your convenience.
The kitchen space is equipped with modern amenities, including an induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig coffee machine, toaster, vintage dinnerware, and silverware for four. Our thoughtful coffee station is stocked with 4 kcups, creamer, sugar/0-calorie sweetener, tea, and some delightful snacks for your enjoyment. For those inclined to dine out, we are conveniently located near restaurants such as The Spot, Granny’s Country Kitchen, and the exceptional Ocean Sands Tiki Bar.

Why they chose this property
This historic property came about in trying to preserve this little piece of Pleasure Island. As it was an actual functioning Barrack at Fort Fisher during WWII, it then was sold off and transported to its current location in 1942. Redone to provide a beautiful and peaceful stay across from the beach, its roots are still grounded in this amazing little island that brings so many families and friends to make memories each year.

Great Patio with peak-a-boo ocean views provides the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors before or after your day at the beach. induction cook top makes this "hotel room" more functional than you can imagine!
