About this property
Getaway Near Mass MoCA, Great Hiking, Scenic Views
With almost seven years of hosting experience and 200+ great reviews through other platforms, you can't go wrong with our One Bedroom Vermont Getaway!
This apartment has one bedroom with a queen bed and down bedding, TV, dresser, and large closet, a full bathroom (linens included), and a kitchen equipped with a full-size fridge, oven/stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and basic cooking and dining essentials. There is also a washer and dryer available for use.
Free off-street parking is available for up to two cars. Free wifi is also available.
Our space is off of the Main Road in Stamford, VT. Stamford is the last town in Vermont before crossing the border into Massachusetts. We are a 10 minute drive to North Adams, MA, home of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and Mount Greylock. Our area has views of Florida Mountain and Mount Greylock, which is part of the Appalachian Trail. Stamford has its own local Country Club, where anyone is welcome to play golf, and a local driving range. We are 5 minutes from Clarksburg State Park and Natural Bridge State Park in Clarksburg, MA. If you are a skier/rider, you can hike the Thunderbolt on Mount Greylock (if conditions allow), or make the easy drive up to Mount Snow Resort or The Hermitage Club (both about 35 minutes north) or down to Jiminy Peak (40 minutes south) or Berkshire East (35 minutes south).
Or, just stay close and enjoy the quiet town of Stamford, VT. Stamford is loved for its community, class, and natural beauty as well as its convenient location.
We book up quickly during the summer and fall seasons, so don’t wait!
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire apartment with its own private entry.
This apartment is part of a large, historic home built in the mid 1800s. The apartment is one of three units. Multiple adults, children, and a dog live on the property. YOU WILL LIKELY SEE/HEAR the occupants on occasion during your stay. We never have complaints about noise, but do like to be transparent about the possibility of it. Our dog, Gus, may bark once or twice when he hears you enter - he is not much of a barker otherwise.
