Cute, cozy 2 bedroom cottage with close walk to the lake. Affordable for a few nights stay. We went to spend Christmas with our nephew who's in the Navy. We appreciated being able to bring our dog and the fenced in yard. Our host was easy to contact and very helpful with directions, check in and assistance with anything we needed.
The pictures made the yard look bigger. There were broken patio chairs and the fire pit had metal and nails screws like furniture was burned in it. Seemed a little run down but for the area i expected it. Still had a great time as I'm not picky.
Everything was fantastic. Got to bring our little dog, fenced in yard, fire pit, grill for food, beach right next door. An awesome experience. Kids loved it thank you! Felt safe and kids were always busy fishing, kayaking, paddle boating. Great trip, definitely won’t regret this stay. We will be back!

Good for kids but not others
This is a very small property that is a few minutes walk and down a covered concrete staircase to a small pretty beach. It is overpriced for the size and quality of the rental. Cannot recommend.

Just OK
Smaller than expected. Not big enough for 4 adults. No closets to hang clothes. Only 1 dresser in entire house. Not what we expected. The check in process was great, was able to check in earlier. Pretty cold in the house. Heat disnt work great. Couldnt figure out the electric fireplaces. Neighborhood was quiet. Overall just too tiny for us.

Sandy feet. Boating. Bonfires. Fishing. Lazy summer days. Picnics. Simple and charming cottages. A return to the old school family vacation. A perfect retreat to escape the daily grind and a place to unwind with family or friends. This is our vision for The Cottages on Petite Lake.
On any given day, you’ll find David, his daughter Jessica or staff around the property restoring this quirky, charming cottage resort. Most were built in the early 1900s. Ten have been fixed up including the houseboat, a tiny house, the big lodge, and a yacht.
A labor of love, The Cottages on Petite Lake is the Chiesa family’s passion to serve the community by providing a retreat from the busy world we live in so guests can connect with themselves and each other while enjoying the outdoors.
Located on Petite Lake, this adorable house is on the Cottages on Petite Lake property with access to boats, swimming, fishing, and beautiful morning sunrises.
Each cottage has a private fire pit, propane grill (we provide the gas!), and outdoor sitting and dining space. We have firewood available for delivery (cash, Zelle or Venmo accepted) or you can bring your own!
We have kayaks, paddle boards, a floating picnic table, floats and beach toys available (free - first come first serve). There is also a picnic area and fun community feel! The beach is private to the cottages on the property.
