Great place
Beautiful neighborhood with what appeared to me to English gardens in everyone’s front yards. Beds were comfortable and loved already equipped with coffee, trash bags, paper towels, etc. Enjoyed our visit!

Beautiful house!!!
Mimosa is a super clean, beautiful house! The house is located in a great neighborhood, very close to the country club. The neighborhood is great for walking or jogging and filled with large, historic, beautifully maintained houses. Mimosa itself has fantastic hardwoods upstairs, a spa quality bathroom with a walk-in shower (that encompasses one side of the bathroom and has three shower heads), and a cute little sunporch. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very nice and updated, and the dining room and sitting room are comfortable and well maintained. The house was immaculately clean and VERY affordable! It was a great deal! I'm thankful to the owner for sharing with us! :)!

A Home Away From Home
This lovely home was the perfect location for our two-week stay in Wilmington. Our son and his family were having their kitchen remodeled so we found the Mimosa Street house, and it proved to be within walking distance from their home. We could help with the children after school and provide dinners for the family while they were without a kitchen. Fortunately, our kitchen was well stocked, the living spaces generous; the king-size bed was very comfortable and the main bathroom was spacious and inviting. My husband and I could walk to several businesses in that area. Chris' Restaurant is a Greek establishment we visited for a couple of breakfasts. Sometimes we did take-out and there are many options for restaurants in this area. Independence Mall is very close, as is Harris Teeter, Whole Foods and Food Lion. Christian and the Havenscapes team were very responsive with questions we had at the beginning of our trip. Downtown was a short drive away but we also found places close by for entertainment. My husband and I tried to walk the neighborhood every morning. Several streets are lined with magnolia and live oak trees, highlighting the lovely older homes in this well-established neighborhood. There are lovely gardens nearby as well as other places for families to enjoy - especially the beaches! All-in-all, this home-away-from-home checked all the boxes for us and I would highly recommend it to others whether you need a weekend retreat or a longer stay.
