About this property

Yellowstone Luxury Tipi sleeps 4, 1 king + 2 twins

Our luxury tipi is roomy yet cozy inside. With a 315 sq/ft (22 foot diameter) interior, and a 20 foot ceiling height, you won’t feel cramped. It includes fresh linens and extra thick comforters for all the beds. It gets warm during the summer days, but summer nights drop to a cool, comfortable temperature which is why we don’t have A/C.
We’re also the only eco friendly glamping site near West Yellowstone to have solar powered portable power stations, all off grid, to every accommodation. This will power all the interior lighting, and allow you to charge all your devices, even laptops that take a standard 2 or 3 prong AC wall plug. These will NOT power C-Pap machines.
Restrooms are walking distance and shared with other guests. We offer toilets, sinks and hot showers, all off grid. We also provide you with fresh bath towels.
We set up our tipi’s in June and the season ends Sept 30th. It’s easy to forget this is still camping so please remember to plan for the weather, that includes warm/cold weather, rain, mud, and even snow during some months.

What a fun place to stay!

We loved our night in the teepee! It rained for part of the night but we stayed warm and dry. Bathrooms were a short walk and very clean, and we enjoyed how quiet the whole place was. Would absolutely recommend as a fun stay for a family.

Fun experience

This was a fun night for our family going between Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Our kids loved playing with other kids at the campfire. The beds were very comfortable. We would recommend staying here.

Glamping fun in a teepee

This was a perfect camping experience in a teepee. They are on a platform so no bugs to deal with. This place is still fairly new but a perfect stop for your Yellowstone trip. We stayed the night before and staff was great. If you ever wanted to do glamping this is perfect for you.

I'm Shane and I grew up in a family that loves tent camping. Like many families, our charge to the wilderness was always led by my dad. This year my dad and hero unexpectedly passed away at a far far too young age, which destroyed me. So as part of my healing, I took it upon myself to honor his legacy by sharing the outdoors with as many people as I could by opening our glamping site named Starlight Retreat. And what better place than Yellowstone, the worlds first and in my opinion, most unique national park! So consider this my invite to you, to come enjoy the great outdoors, bring your loved ones, and build your own amazing memories at some of the most amazing places our country has to offer.

Why they chose this property

At only 19 minutes to the West Yellowstone entrance of Yellowstone you'll find an absolutely stunning property on 40 acres of pine forest, meadows and aspen groves with beautiful views of the valley, walking distance to Henry's Fork an amazing fishing river, only a few minute drive to Henry's lake a world famous fishing lake, plus endless miles of absolute world class fishing rivers, lakes, waterfalls and hunting. It's no wonder they call this area "Sportsman's Paradise". I think guests will be surprised to have such easy access to the site off hwy 20, yet still feel so far away from it all.
