Magnificent

Beautifully, quiet& peaceful.Nearly everything at your finger tips. Short scenic drive out of gated community- Country Club- to Bryson City. The eateries in Bryson City we chose were; CJ's Cafe& Anthony's. Fabulous food~

Nice condo…great view…but…

The condo itself was nice and the view is great. However, the condo was not clean…very dusty with dead bugs everywhere. The walls are destroyed and need to be painted. I’m surprised there weren’t touched up before summer. There was no toilet paper in the house, besides 2 partially used rolls and no tissues. When I called to have someone come in and clean -no one got back to me and I was then credited for the inconvenience. Vacasa’s cleaning service and customer service need improvement. There was no coffee pot, only a Keurig and no pods. I’ve never rented a place that didn’t have a coffee pot. Overall, we had a great time because we were in the mountains and the condo is nice. The cleaning and missing items were frustrating but can easily be rectified if someone is paying attention and makes the necessary effort.

Tara, we apologize for the house not being cleaned as thoroughly as is our standard. Please know that local staff is available to assist with any cleanliness issues you encounter while in the home. While the kitchen is stocked with all the cookware and utensils needed to prepare meals, food and other pantry items like coffee and tea are not typically stocked in the home. We encourage guests to plan ahead if they anticipate needing additional items during their stay. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future.

Beautiful condo in the Smokies

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in this very spacious and comfortable condo with a gorgeous view. The pictures are very accurate although it’s larger than we expected and the full deck that runs the whole length of the house is really nice. A couple of things to be aware of. The condo is on the side of a mountain so the road to it is winding and steep with multiple roads cutting off at different places. We tried to arrive before dark but didn’t quite make it and it was really challenging to read the address markers. There are only a few towels in each bathroom and the quality of some is good and others sub par. The sheets on the king bed were also sub par, thin and pilled. Extra trash bags and dish washing soap are provided but only minimal paper towels and toilet paper and no clothes washing soap. Also the only condiments were salt and pepper. There are no stores in Whittier so you have to shop in either Bryson City or Cherokee. Just a heads up so you know what to bring with you.
