Costa de la Luz is a stylish, single-level villa directly on the calm waters of the Laguna Marina. You’ll enjoy a private pool, generous garden with covered porch, and lovely views over the lagoon. The open-plan kitchen and comfortable air-conditioned bedrooms make this an ideal base for an active Bonaire vacation, both on the water and around the island.

Costa de la Luz is a spacious, single-level villa in the Laguna Marina area, offering approximately 200 m² of living space and beautiful views over the sheltered lagoon next to Kralendijk. From here, you can quickly drive to Van den Tweel supermarket (2 kilometers), the beaches of Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach (2.1 kilometers), Sebastian’s Restaurant (700 meters) and Dive Friends Chachacha dive center (1500 meters). Outside, you’ll find a private pool in the garden, surrounded by a terrace and pool deck, perfect for unwinding after an active day.

As a guest of Costa de la Luz, you have access to the entire villa: three bedrooms, three bathrooms, the open kitchen, living room, private garden, covered porch, terrace, pool deck, and the private pool directly on the Laguna Marina. All mentioned amenities, such as the washing machine, bedroom air conditioning, and BBQ, are for your group’s exclusive use. To warmly welcome our guests and provide explanations about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we personally handle all arrivals. The Sunwise hosts of the property will coordinate your arrival time with you.

The artificial lagoon between Kralendijk and the airport, connected to the Caribbean Sea via channels. Around the lagoon you’ll find villas, small-scale resorts and hotels (including Ocean Breeze, Plaza Beach Resort and Water Villas Bonaire), often with private boat docks. The water is sheltered and calm – perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding and relaxed waterfront living – with a direct boating connection to the open sea and the dive sites along the west coast.

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Costa de la Luz. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Check-in to Costa de la Luz is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise down at night. Enjoy your stay at Costa de la Luz!
