This is a wonderful property. Very comfortable and inviting. The beaches were very nice, and the fossil hunting was close by. Lots of wildlife in the area also. I would recommend staying here.
Clean cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed our time there. The beaches were fun to explore and relax on. The house was beautifully decorated had everything we wanted or needed. The host were easy to work with. I highly recommend staying there!
Owner was great to work with and was very accommodating. House was minutes to several small beaches. We were sad with the businesses that had gone out in Solomon’s, but we still had a good time.
Visited the area for a two-week work trip really enjoyed staying at this property instead of a hotel. The house was amazing for out little four-legged baby as well! loved the park that was close for walking our little yorkie Tucker. Will stay again!
We stayed here for our honeymoon, and couldn’t have had a better experience. The thought that has gone into this property is unmatched. There are so many things to do just on the grounds that you won’t get bored. Perfect for an unbothered getaway. The private beach access was a huge plus for us. We had some precious visitors in the yard too! Thank you so much for making our week special!
The house was bright, had everything we needed, and was in a quiet, wooded neighborhood close to some hiking trails and beaches. We had delicious seafood delivered and relaxed in the comfortable living room. We would love to come back in the summer sometime and really enjoy the beaches!
We had a blast, cozy house with plenty of room for kiddos to play. No exaggeration, this was the best stocked rental property I’ve ever stayed at—everything we needed seemed to magically appear! Plus, the hosts were great in helping us retrieve items we forgot when we left. 5/5!
Great house! Lots of extras you don’t normally see; sand toys, beach chairs and towels, games to play, toys for littles, booster seat, spices and some condiments, nice array of dishes and appliances, coffee, creamer, etc…. Things to note: no closet in two bedrooms, with 5 adults and two toddlers a few extra towels would have been helpful. Great property, would definitely recommend! Host was very communicative and responded timely!
Loved the home and the property. Waffle house was so well stocked and great for our holiday. My sister got married and it was a lovely place for us to rest and relax after all the festivities. Would recommend to anyone and hope to rent again. Thanks Robin for all the fabulous communication. You really are the best.
We arrived for a weeklong family vacation with a 4 year old and a just crawling 9 month old, and a dog. The house is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated yet still very family friendly.
Every imaginable consideration has been offered by the hosts. I have never stayed in a vacation home where so many items were on hand to make my stay easier and more enjoyable. Beach toys and towels, baby bath accessories, first aid kits, board games, DVD’s, drink straws and even an appreciated Margarita pitcher and glass set.
If you are looking for a home for your family to share, this one is a delight!
Communication is the key to a successful vrbo experience and the owner has this virtue in spades. I would hear from Robin within minutes of sending her questions (ex: Discovery map, local seafood vendors, etc). The house is stocked like a mini-mart and was willingly shared. The house is uniquely designed and we made use of all areas (especially enjoyed the vinyl record player in the foyer with playable albums from years past). Even though there are houses easily within eyesight, we never felt like there was a privacy issue. The only item that could be addressed is the carpets in some of the bedrooms could use a deep cleaning or replacement but it didn't adversely affect my stay.
House is in a large development. Surrounded by lots of trees. Checkin was easy and flawless. This house is exactly as pictured. Very well decorated on the inside with plenty of space to relax. Lots of games and activities available on property and in the area.Primary bedroom is spacious and down a hallway which makes it feel private. The bed was comfortable. The house was tidy and simple. Some minor areas could use a deep cleaning. Primary shower ceiling is an example.Cookware was varied and covered most situations though the frying pans need updating from scratches etc.Dog friendly items available. Bowls etc. Deck is a little rustic and the yard is not fenced in so if you have a runner, keep them on leash. There are outdoor games and the small shower is very convenient. There has been a lot of thought put into the house. The few items that need attention are due to use and not neglect which makes all the difference. We would recommend.
The Waffle House was perfect for our party of four, including a four year old who was thoroughly entertained during our stay. We mainly went to Flag Ponds Nature Park and the house was a great place to come back to after a day at the beach.
