The host is amazing. Great communication with us prior to arrival. The house is clean. They are very generous with kitchen goodies. The views and fishing are amazing. It’s a simple home hidden in paradise.
Beautiful setting amongst the cottonwoods and nearby river. Conveniently close to quality waters to fly fish. Inside was clean and decorated nicely. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax after a day's fishing. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped to cook our meals.
We enjoyed our stay and it was just what we were looking for. You can hear the river from the sitting area and the views are great. We will stay again when we come back to the area.
very clean, great access to river, overall very good experience

Kitchen cabinets are dirty and toilets release sewer gas when flushed. No internet or phone service.House is close to Navajo Dam for good trout fishing. Jamie is very pleasant but needs to do a major cleaning.

Nice folks, but extremely high maintenance. 17 messages prior to stay, plus adding a pet last minute. I am always happy to help with anything from fishing to local recommendations, but they were pretty needy. I would not recommend them to other hosts. Toilets do not release sewer gas. We are on a well which has iron. We treat the well, but occasionally there can be an odor when a chlorine treatment is needed.
Perfect vacation. My parents stayed with us. We fished during the day, and ate our catches at night. The house is clean and the beds are comfy. The direct river access is amazing. I actually went fishing with a fresh cup of coffee in hand. Thank you, Jamie!

Loved these guests! Kelly and crew were amazing to talk to, took great care of the house and were just all around great people. Would love to have them back anytime!!!
Overall Awesome. The house was in a great location about 5-7 minutes to Texas Hole 10 minutes from Navajo Dam. Comfy beds, really nice house, right next to San Juan River you can hear the river from the bedroom, and we saw turkeys, deer and in the evening played board games. Thx for a great weekend.

Really nice place on the San Juan River, big home very well stocked with everything you need for your stay.. Fly fishing anytime you want or just relaxing on the property was pretty nice..Jamie the host and his family were very welcoming .if we ever come back to this area we would love to stay here.
House was nice. Could use some TLC. Some things didn’t work and the water pressure is poor. Some of the bed sheets had stains. No wifi. The exterior could use some TLC as well. Overall it’s a nice place at a decent price per night
The place was what we were looking for. The only downfall was a lumpy bed in the master bedroom.

We found many lights did not work or have bulbs. Master bath -my husband vacuumed loose sawdust in vent, to prevent fire. Poor maintenance outside.Home is tired. Clean linens. Plug shorted on light when we tried to use it. Offensive odor from chemical used in toilets.
This was a wonderful stay. The house was on a great stretch of the San Juan and my husband and kids fly fished successfully for rainbow and brown trout on the private stretch of river right behind the house. We saw deer and turkeys right in the yard. The house had plenty of space and was clean and comfortably appointed. Good communication with the host. The house was perfect for us.

A great stay at a great house. We used this as a corporate getaway option, as opposed to several hotel rooms, and it proved to be a great way to enjoy the San Juan and team build at the same time. The river was a bit high during our stay, but we had a blast, slept well and enjoyed each other's company. All around a very clean and functional house for our needs. Host was extremely helpful & responsive. No compaints and will be staying there again!

Thanks Sean! You guys left the place immaculate and are welcome back anytime!
Ridiculous review. 3 star because the water pressure dips just a bit if 3 or more sources are being used. We are on a well. Dumbest most dishonest review yet. Please take time to read others. Great place.....Not fancy....but a whole house with private river access for less than a motel....we are proud of it....
The location is great for fishing as the San Juan River is literally in the backyard. Navajo Lake is approximately 10 minutes away. Lots of wildlife around the property! The house is nice and spacious. The only reason I rated it a 4 is because it seems the water tank needs to be replaced. Using the water was not ideal as it has a terrible rust smell. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

There is no "Water Tank". The well water in the area has iron. We filter with string and carbon filters and shock the well periodically.
This is a great base for fishing the San Juan below Navajo Dam. There is a great run on the property itself, with healthy brown trout and a few rainbows. You are minutes away from the world-famous tailwater of the Navajo Dam. Jamie is super helpful in communicating current fishing conditions, fly patterns, etc. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Everything in the kitchen worked well.

Thank you so much Russell! Would love to have you and your group back anytime!
The property was awesome. The place was clean. Very close to the river which was so nice. Its great for a group of guys wanting to fish and hang out. We lost power for about 3 hours the second night. It triggered the well/water power to shut down. Although we were without water for the night, Jamie the host was there bright and early so we had water in the morning when we woke. Overall this was a very cool place to be.
