Welcome to your coastal retreat! Ocean Dunes 308!!

This beautifully appointed one-bedroom villa features a full kitchen, a spacious combined living and dining area with a sleeper sofa and a separate bedroom with a comfortable queen-sized bed. Step out onto the balcony to enjoy stunning, direct views of the ocean.

Stay connected with complimentary wireless internet, and take advantage of the Ocean Dunes' newly renovated oceanfront pool, which is heated year-round to a comfortable 82 degrees. The pool is open daily from 9 AM until sunset.

Located just 70 yards from the beach on South Forest Beach Drive, the Ocean Dunes Complex is perfectly situated near Coligny Plaza and Coligny Beach Park, offering easy access to dining, shopping, and entertainment.

This property has coin operated laundry on the property, not in the villa.

Guests also have access to the Hilton's Oceanside Bar and Grill and Starbucks products!

The pool was a wonderful addition to our experience. The only minor shortfall is that there were no complementary kitchen ingredients such as salt and pepper shakers, coffee filters and a first serving or two for the coffee maker. These are items that have typically been included in other quality properties. Don’t allow those minor items to keep you from enjoying this place!

HHI - Condo

The unit was pretty much as advertised. We enjoyed the sunrise and ocean views from the deck. We had our breakfasts there most mornings as well as afternoon cocktails and some sunset dinners. The outdoor furniture could be updated as it is not the most comfortable to spend longer times relaxing outdoors.

The Ocean Dunes property was older; clean, but "rickety." The outdoor photos of the property are misleading w regard to the pool, which was the small one on the left. Never once did we see it get maintained. The bed was atrocious. I would not stay here in the future.

We have stayed other OD properties in the past. This condo was clean, convenient and very up to date. Having read sleeper sofa was not comfortable in review, our son would agree. If extra person is counting on sleeper sofa-it needs to be as comfortable possible. Besides that-the place was great locale and would stay there again.

Reviewer Comments: This area is fantastic,management was great as always,we have stayed in this unit before and was very impressed,not this time,furniture needs upgraded,bed was wore out bathroom needed a deep cleaning utensils,cofee maker,toaster,and pans were very dated,like they must have came from Goodwill,towels we pretty much wore out my wife slept on the sofa because the master bedroom mattress was wore out,I realize that covid has been very hard on everybody,but thats the cost of doing business,we have been here several times before and plan to return,just not this unit again unless they upgrade,it was also one of the pricier units and normally was worth it,but things have changed i would not recommend.Sorry...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was VERY clean and the kitchen was VERY well stocked with all the supplies we needed for our stay. My mom uses a walker/wheelchair to get around. For the most part, we were able to get around easily, but the door to the bathroom was not wide enough to get her walker in the bathroom. While this is picky, the TV service was not very reliable. I am sure that it was partly user error, but there were times when the system simply would not work. A printed channel guide would help prevent having to channel up/down.From an overall property standpoint, this is a very convenient location. We have always loved staying on this part of the island. The walkway to the beach is a great asset that was much needed. I wish the property had a better way to get a wheelchair down to the pool area without having to go all the way around the building. The pathway alongside the building was rather narrow and we found ourselves in the bushes a few times.

Reviewer Comments: My daughter and I were celebrating her recent college grad and it was an amazing week to relax and reconnect!No better place than on the beach! While we enjoyed many of the fine restaurants in the area (Carolina Crab is my new fav) there was no better view than on the balcony of 308 Ocean Dunes! The condo is small (couples or maybe small family) but it had most everything we needed! A few suggestions: if you like to cook bring a good non stick or cast iron skillet and your fav chopping knife. Loved the new cabinetry, eespecially the pantry and granite countertops! The bathroom shiwer was a real treat after a day at the beach! As a prior reviewer mentioned, the bedding is a bit tired (I brought my own coverlet and pillows) but the mattress was quite comfortable and there were plenty of fresh blankets! Good storage too... The complex pool was disappointing with the area unkept and surprisingly not fenced in. The rest of the grounds were nicely maintained! But we spent most of the time at the beach so not a problem! We loved our stay and look forward to returning in the fall! Thank you!

Beach access is great. Good rinse off area. I rarely, if ever heard any nbors through the walls. I felt safe in this facility with just me and 2 children. Cons are it wasn't cleaned well. Crumbs still on counter, furniture ledges amd counter ledges were full of crumbs and/ or sand and dust. Mirrors were spattered with water drip marks, the hall mirror so full of dried drip marks. Front door needs to be wiped down. I brought my keurig as I noticed they didn't have one, but I think they should have one as standard. Was not a single trash liner in kitchen trash, most places start you with one so I used grocery bags throughout my stay for trash. The hideabed was stiff to open up, struggled a little bit. Once I got it open, we left it open bc it was too difficult to do, so our already small living room became microsized with the bed open the whole time. It is a tiny condo even with just me and 2 elementary aged kids. Lastly, the check-in and checkout process is antiquated with having to drive to the office and pickup, or drop-off keys. Pool was closed for unknown reason half a day. All the cons were minor issues in the grand scheme of things and could be easily fixed by manager/owner. It was a wonderful vacation on the beach.

Great service from manager. We went to all our favorite restaurants and shopped at outlets.

The property is a 15-minute walk (by beach or sidewalk) to the Coligny Plaza for groceries, restaurants, gifts etc. The property is right on the beach, and this unit had a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool was a nice temperature. The unit itself had adequate facilities. Some repairs and updating are needed, but nothing that diminished our enjoyment of our holiday.
