We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and big enough for all ten of us to have plenty of space to gather. The location allowed the convenience of town within a short drive to the Buffalo River.
We loved the property and location. Check-in was easy, the kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and cookware. The kids loved the piano, coffee bar, and breakfast nook. The showers and claw foot tubs were phenomenal and the water pressure was great. Comfortable beds! We would love to stay again. The location provided easy access to many attractions.
The house was clean, comfortable, and full of beautiful original details. The location is super convenient and the host was responsive to any question we had. We would totally stay here again.
The home is very clean and organized for how old it is. Cute sitting areas. There is a really large room great for hanging out in. There is plenty of comfy beds and sleeping areas. We had 8 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room. The only thing to consider is there is only 2 bathrooms and only one has a shower.
What a pleasant place to stay during our son’s baseball tournament! The beds are really comfortable and the space is classic. The kids loved the addition of the game room area, and I loved the coffee/wine bar and breakfast nook, but enjoyed drinking my coffee in the main living room, which felt like the heartbeat of the home.
We stayed just one night here. Beautiful historic properly with lots of space. They did request help in the clean up process - stripping the beds, emptying trash, doing dishes, etc.
Great location to get on scenic roads quickly. The house has tremendous character and is beautiful.

About the host
Hosted by Acacia Johnson
My family and I have lived in the Harrison area for the last 12 years. We love the area because it is central to so many outdoor activities. I’m a local therapist, so we originally bought this property for the medical clinic that is located next door. The home came with the property, and was in need of much restoration. We got to work on it and decided to turn it into a vacation home so that others could enjoy the neat history and beauty of it.
Why they chose this property
This property has so much character and charm. There are several original structures to the home, and it feels warm and inviting.
What makes this property unique
Close to the city life of Harrison, but also on the side of town closest to the Buffalo River. It is right off of Highway 7 South which leads directly to the Buffalo, Dogpatch (future attraction of Johnny Morrison), and the little quaint town of Jasper, AR. I also own and work at the Wellness Clinic behind the property, and can be readily available for renters if needed.
