The studio is a converted musician's recording studio. The carpeted living space is well heated in Winter and has air conditioning in Summer. Recessed lighting adds to its understated charm. With hundred - mile views of the mountains, the studio offers full drapes for our guests who like to sleep in.
The kitchen features a modern electric stove, microwave, apartment-size refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, cutlery and dishes. We provide spices, tea and coffee, and some yummy Vermont treats.
Sleeping arrangements include a queen bed with new mattress and luxury topper, and a small couch which folds out to a single bed. The studio is accessible by stairs, with a private entrance. High-speed internet and a smart TV are included. The bathroom has a shower, no tub, and we provide essentials for your stay.
The neighborhood features lots of wooded walking trails and the historic Green River covered bridge with river swimming. Outdoor recreation nearby includes hiking, biking, kayaking and swimming.
With almost no light pollution, constellations and the milky way can be seen overhead just outside the front door. The property is pet-free due to family allergies although you might see local wildlife including turkeys, deer, and porcupine.
The historic Latchis Theater in downtown Brattleboro shows art and feature films, and the Vermont Jazz Center and Stone Church host many concerts. Marlboro Music Festival, The Putney School, and Landmark College are about forty-five minutes away.

** We live up a dirt road which can be challenging to travel after a snowstorm. Snow tires and all-wheel drive are highly recommended during the Winter months.
