It was a great cottage on a very quiet lake. The boys and I had a fun week. I was a little disappointed I could not take my kayaks out in the lake, but understand why they are trying to protect it.

Lovely cottage
Lovely cottage. Deanna was very helpful when intetnet wouldn't work. Very bad roads getting in, and too steep a walk to the dock for 70+ yr olds. Also 2nd bathroom advertised was in the basement.
We had a great experience :) The cottage sits on a beautiful lake with lots of wildlife.
Everything you need is provided in the cottage for you to enjoy your time with less stress. Deanna is super responsive and helpful if you have any questions as well.
I will definitely be recommending this spot for anyone looking for a place to relax and unwind.

About the host
Hosted by Deanna Spence
Second Heaven Cottage is owned by two sisters, Deanna and Arlene. The cottage was built by our Father in 1985. Every inch was designed and built my our Father, a master carpenter. The property is a gem. Rich in nature. The solitude and the experience of being so close to nature is restorative and an unforgettable experience. Guests are thrilled with their stay, always. We love hosting because our guests are just so appreciative of their time spent on Long Lake and the value of their stay at the cottage. We hope you love it too!
What makes this property unique
Our cottage is fun all year round. Every season has it wonders.
The fall offers immersion in tree colours. Reds, yellows, oranges all around. Such a beautiful, fulfilling feeling to be nestled in amongst the trees.
Winter feels like being in a beautiful snow globe. Offering Ontario federation groomed snowmobile trails 300 metres away and forest bathing snowshoeing out the kitchen door.
Summer has the best swimming ever in a quiet, deep, spring fed no motors lake.
The cottage is handcrafted inside, all by our Father and Mother. Quite a beauty to admire.
