The cabin was lovely! Communication with the host was excellent, they were very quick to respond. Our family was very comfortable there. Great to have a fenced in yard for the dogs too! The fact that the loft was glassed in was terrific for sound mitigation. This was easily one of THE cleanest VRBO's we have ever stayed at, highly recommend!
We enjoyed the cabin. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nice to cook in. The views were good. We had tea on the deck early so we could see the sun come up over the mountain.
Good place to stay while trying to stay connectect to the woods. Located off main area but close enough to run into town and close to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Accommodations were spacious and clean. Neighborhood was quiet; the dirt road was easy to walk on and did not get too muddy following rain. Property management was quick to respond when needed.
This was hands down the best snowmobiling property we have ever been to. Right from the driveway we headed out on the Grand Lake Trails. The rental was perfect with a cozy loft for our kids, 2 bedrooms on the main level with a bathroom, and a lower level room With a bathroom. We will definitely be back!
Loved it. Looked like the pictures. Great view. Close to everything.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
The chalet in general was fine. The main problem was that one of the beds in the loft had dirty tissues under the covers, so it made us uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the place. Also, the main bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, so the window had to be left open all the time. The outdoor cushions seem to be left out all the time, so my granddaughter got her clothes wet and dirty on on one of them. Also, the stairs to the loft were slippery for kids going up and down. The location was fine.
The location and views were wonderful. Overall a great property. It does feel as if it could be maintained a bit better. The yard had lots of dog poop and empty playdough containers. The grill was out of propane (which they did bring over once we realized and asked about it). The TV did not work at all, which we mentioned but did not get resolved. All that said, it's a great spot!
Enjoyed our time Lake Escape. Steep hill to climb but house had plenty of room. Little trouble with code entry and no phone number listed on paperwork for a contact person. Did finally get a contact. If going into RMNP make sure you get Timed Entry. We saw moose quite often. RMNP is one of our favorite places.
This property is just as the pictures show it, absolutely beautiful cabin, with a beautiful view of the lake perfect for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. I enjoy cooking for my family and this kitchen had everything I needed. We only needed the beds upstairs but both were very comfortable and the neighborhood is so quiet we slept like babies. The shower is amazing! This property is located at the top of a pretty steep hill (which allows for the views) the hill was not a problem at all for our 2 wheel truck and my niece’s little car in the summer but does have signs that chains are needed in the winter with the snow. We would definitely stay here again, enjoyed the home immensely!!!
Terrible! Place is a hole. No lock box, no keys, couldn't lock the house, toilet seats loose, light bulbs out in the hallway going downstairs, broken fixture in bathroom. Overall, the property was very poorly maintained. The instructions told us to remove all trash in a green bag, but there were no green bags and only one garbage liner bag. Refrigerator shelves did not fit correctly, as it was either parts were missing or the wrong shelf was set up. I would never lease or recommend this property to anyone. I will still rent from VRBO, but they need to check out these properties before their customers, us, stop using VRBO!
