Right on the Water! Huge Deck! Completely Renovated!

While you will do most of your living on the huge deck overlooking the Gulf (or maybe dangling your toes in the water!), the main floor has recently been completely renovated with all new kitchen, bathrooms, appliances, furniture, rugs - everything!! The main floor includes a living area, dining table, 1/2 bath, and kitchen. The deck has a teak table that comfortably sits 6, large shade umbrella and grill.

On the second level everything is new as well! The Master bedroom opens to its own private deck overlooking the ocean. The Master has a king bed and private bathroom with double vanities. The second bedroom has a queen bed and bunk beds and its own private bathroom.

The town home has access to both Summer's Edge Pools - one of which is heated year round, and both of which are just a few hundred feet away.

Ramsgate is conveniently located on a quiet cul de sac about 2 miles from Seaside and 6 miles from Rosemary Beach, both of which have fun shopping and dining choices. If you are here you know the Emerald Coast was just voted one of the Top 5 Beaches in the US.

If you are there between March 1st through October 31st you also receive a free beach set up of two chairs and one umbrella.

Absolutely love this property and proximity to beach and pool. It was beautiful and very well kept. The deck was perfect and we enjoyed sitting outside and watching the ocean! We would definitely stay again. It can get warm upstairs as there is only one unit for both levels. There was one fan provided but we purchased a second!!

We were satisfied with our stay. It was stocked with all the essentials needed and beautifully decorated. The best part was being right on the beach. The daily front row beach chairs that were included was also an added bonus. The beach was crowded and it was nice knowing we would have front row. We did have trouble working the tv the first day and Kristie had someone out to fix it really quickly. That was impressive. Some of the outdoor furniture was damaged and not usable. The owners were very considerate and compensated us for our inconvenience.

I wish I had known beforehand that the house was located right on a beach access point, because the beach area was incredibly crowded. We enjoyed having the provided chairs and umbrella, and our kids loved all of the floats and toys that were in the beach shed. The house provided everything we could need and more. The only recommendation I would suggest is ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The downstairs gets nice and cool, but upstairs did not seem to cool much, so everyone got hot at night.

Perfect spot for the family

We had a great trip and the location of this condo couldn’t be better! Close to everything, but not in the middle of the it, which was the perfect blend for our family. We loved being able to walk right out to the beach. The beach chairs were waiting for us every morning by 7:30 and we utilized them every day, first and last off the beach. We fished every day and had lots of luck catching pompano! Highly recommend this home!

Love this property!

We have stayed at Pete’s Retreat many times. The location on the beach cannot be beat! I noticed the condo needs some attention, minor things such as dishwasher rack needs to be repaired, most hand soap dispensers at sinks are empty, garage light above car is out, towel bar in master bath is not secure…Just small things. I hope the owners addresses the details. It is a great property!Also I mistakenly left a few items that have yet to be returned to me although the property manager said she is sending them.

Reviewer Comments: There was hurricane heading toward Florida on our scheduled dates, the staff was very helpful in getting us moved back a few days to an alternate unit so we could avoid the hurricane. We stayed in Pete's Retreat, The location was great. right on the beach. Two things to be aware of. It is located right next to a beach public access point, so the beach gets VERY crowded and more than once we had to ask folks to move out of the chairs provided with the home. This unit had a roach problem. If I stayed there again I would ensure pest control spraying prior to arrival.

The unit is obviously in an amazing location on the beach! We liked the new furniture and interior design. Had a blast meeting and spending brief time with the Dickerson's. A new grill was needed and we appreciate Kristie's quick response and the maint. guy's delivery of a new grill the next day. We cleaned it after use. Thanks again! We'd like to offer kind /constructive comments: The mattress in the back bedroom is not good. Our backs hurt after sleeping. The pillows were too hard and uncomfortable. We missed and would have liked the ceiling fans as the air cond. in the bedrooms was not that great. We were overheated at night. We asked Kristie abt the beach towels and understand those thin towels are the new thing. We bought beach towels and left them there. We needed to purchase kleenex something that usually is provided. The high top chairs on the deck are nice and modern looking but not comfortable without a back. Lastly, the small washer and dryer combo unit was not good at all. Last time we washed beach towels etc and could not wash anything on this trip. We hope to return if some amenities are changed. Thank you.

Super quick and easy walk to the beach chair set up. Townhouse was clean and had so many extra little touches from a well stocked kitchen, spice cabinet, coffee for our whole stay, cleaning supplies. The storage shed was also really great - had so many toys, floats, chairs, and even bikes with a kids cart to pull along for our toddler. Really thoughtful touches! Would love to stay here again.

While the stairs were a bit of a challenge for mom you couldn't ask for any closer to the beach! The beach chair setup is great as well. Ramsgate 4 has been renovated and is very nicely decorated. Plenty of beach towels, bath towels etc. Kitchen is setup with plenty of plates, dishes, pots and pans and the coffee bar is great. We did have a maintenance issue with fridge but they responded very quickly and had it resolved enough that we did not lose any of our groceries in it. Kristie is very prompt with responding. The storage on bottom floor is full of kids beach toys for surf and sand and some extra chairs you can use. We decided to splurge and stay beachfront and so glad we did! We have stayed in multiple houses in the Summers Edge area and we love being on the beach side of the Eastern Lake area. This place was our favorite! We will definitely be back if it is just our small group again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I almost don’t want to review this house because we don’t want the secret out. This place is AMAZING! When we walked in we were greeted with a fresh remodel. It is absolutely stunning. They literally thought of everything. They had dishwasher pods, trash bags, excellent cookeware and the list goes on. The beds are SO COMFORTABLE! We enjoyed our trip so much, we actually booked our next stay while still visiting. If I had to give one piece of constructive criticism it would be the all in one washer dryer is tiny (you can only put 2 beach towels in at once). A stackable washer and dryer would be more user-friendly for families. But that’s a small price to pay for such an amazing place. Lastly, the amenities in the shed below the unit far surpassed our expectations. We will be flying next trip because there is no need to pack anything other than the clothes on your back! We can’t wait to come back and look forward many many many more visits.
