Welcome to Camp Runamuck Relax on the deck with your friends and family or swim at your private beach with your private swim platform, or just grab a fishing rod and beer and go fishing. Three plus bedroom log cabin chalet on rear lot on Mousam Lake.

The cabin is decorated in a lodge theme. Very beautiful inside . Short 1-2 minute walk across camp road down to Private Sandy Beach with excellent swimming ,also has a private swim platform in water, one boat dock for boats . Bring your own boat and enjoy 5 to 8 miles of both Upper and Lower Mousam lake. There is gradual sloping, clear & sandy bottom, private swimming as well as canoeing, fishing (small & large mouth bass, stocked salmon, and trout/togue), walking, golf and biking. Located 2 hours from Boston and only 40 minutes from the coastal beaches of Ogunquit and Kennebunkport or the White Mountains of NH, there is much to enjoy.
Full package Store with boat gas on lake with boat access with parking. Fire pit outside cabin, firewood can be purchased down the st. Beautiful outside porch with seating accommodations. rentals. (arrival 3:00 pm Saturday .and departure 10:00 am Saturday, maximum occupancy 6-8 adults and children, $500 security deposit) Beds provided: 3- bedrooms, lower level with bunk bed with full and twin. Upper level bedroom with bunk bed with full and twin. Larger upper level bedroom with queen bed and futon. Half bath on upper level. Master bedroom and living room have televisions with you tube Roku tv. And cabin has wireless internet. Roku tv and you tube tv 1 pull out full sofa on first floor living room.sleeps two. LINENS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED. . all though they can be supplied for vacationers traveling abroad 45 MINUTES TO OLD ORCHARD BEACH AND WELLS, 60 MINUTES TO THE SHOPS AND OUTLETS IN NORTH CONWAY. Cabin MUST BE left clean a fee of $150 will be charged for cleaning for the next rental , All trash bagged and put in trash bin on property. 30 dollars per week for trash , picked up once a week (CLEANING SUPPLYS PROVIDED ) 200 dollar dog fee per week , enjoy your stay in beautiful maine.

Great cabin!!!

We enjoyed our stay!! The cabin is wonderful, comfortable and welcoming! The lake is great! The place is quiet! We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away from the routine and relax.

Amazing vacation!

We had an absolutely fantastic vacation on Mousam lake! This cabin was exactly as advertised, spacious clean and very well-appointed. We were able to dock our fishing boat which was incredibly convenient. Nice small beach and swim platform. Lenny was incredibly easy to work with and very responsive to all of my questions. Definitely recommend!

Lenny was a wonderful host and the cabin was beautiful. The kitchen had all the pots, utensils, kitchen towels and things we needed. The laundry was easy to use and a plus was having some cleaning supplies and TP/PT there before we went to the store. We had a lot of fun using the kayaks and the dock and beach were great when we had extended family over to visit and spend the afternoon. We loved sitting on the porch and had all our meals there.Just a wonderful week! Thank you!

Camp run a muck

Check in was excellent. Bathroom door didn’t close . It’s right next to the kitchen. Screen door was apart next to handle when closing otherwise, a beautiful place.

Wonderful to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of Maine! If you are a light sleeper bring an eye mask as the skylights in both upstairs bedrooms are wonderful but the sun rises before 5am and lights up the rooms!! (:

Immaculate, clean and beautiful cabin

I stayed at the log cabin for 4 nights and it was totally relaxing. Its very peaceful and quiet, a great way to get away from the craziness of everyday life. The cabin was immaculate and still smells brand new. Has all conveniences including washer, dryer, dishwasher etc. The lake was right across the street and the boat dock was an extra plus. We went out on the lake everyday, nice lake, and includes a convenience store across the lake. At night, we made use of the firepit and the kids enjoyed making s'mores everynight! Definitely a must stay!

The cabin was great but the 'leisurely stroll to the beach ' was horrible. A very steep driveway!!! The beach was not well maintained, old bouys and ropes. No place to sit except an old picnic table that was very close to the water.

Mousam vacation

We had a wonderful time at the Run A Muck cabin! While not lakefront, there was a great view of and easy access to a great beach and dock. Lenny and his family were very welcoming. I will say that the two bunk rooms were very small, and only one closet in the entire house! Air conditioning worked great! Thanks for a great family gathering!

Great Place!

We had a great stay at Camp Run-a-Muck. The log cabin was clean and up to date. The front porch was huge and we spent a lot of time out there. The Lake was clean and the kids and adults all had a great time swimming, kayaking, and boating. Overall a great time!

Delightful Log Cabin

We have been renting lake homes for over twenty years in both Maine and New Hampshire, and this one is, by far, the cutest and best well-kept log home we have ever had the pleasure of renting. The grandchildren had so much fun, ages 8, 11, 15, and 17. The boys caught and released lots of fish, and everyone loved the beach and swimming, especially our 10-year-old labradoodle. The oldest grandson brought his own kayak with all kinds of fishing gear, but the rest were happy to have access to the two kayaks that were available to us. The camp was decorated so perfectly for a log cabin, all the appliances worked beautifully, and there was plenty of hot water at the end of the day for everyone to shower. We loved the location of the camp because it was so private, and the fire pit was close by so that the grandkids could enjoy lots of S’mores and Doughboys. Thank you, Lenny and Donna, for allowing us to use your wonderful camp!

Quintessential Maine lakeside vacation

The log cabin is beautifully situated on a great piece of property. It is quiet, cozy and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the front porch and also the fireplace overlooking the lake. Our stay was so enjoyable!

Wonderful week on the lake

The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. Waking up to the views of the lake and the smells of a pine forest was charming. The property owner was very helpful and stopped by to say hi when we arrived. We enjoyed a week of hiking, canoeing, swimming, and campfires on the secluded property with private beach area. Lots of cute little towns, great hiking, and breweries within a short drive of the cabin. Looking forward to the next trip!

Beautiful home

From the minute you open the door, you notice how clean and welcoming it is. You are a short walk down to a gorgeous lake with a beach and floating dock of your own, also a boat dock if you need....Lenny and his family are usually next door and could not be nicer, had a great stay, highly recommend

Summer Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation! The lake was beautiful, swam everyday!!! The cabin was perfect, the space was ample. We really enjoyed the deck plenty of space for a big family. Having a full kitchen and grill was great to bring are own groceries! Can’t wait to go back!!

Perfect Maine Getaway
