Beautiful south facing lakefront cottage with sauna & hot tub on Big Cedar Lake!

Large & spacious cottage designed for lakeside living with beautifully landscaped gardens, decks & armour stone steps.

The house features a large custom built eat-in kitchen with granite countertop and dining room with iron wood burning stove for cool days - connected to a very spacious screened porch - with dining table for 10 - 12.

Massive wrap around deck to enjoy all the lakeside views and activities. Tons of room to relax in the living room by the fire with your loved ones or sit and play games at a separate games table. Good place as well for remote office space.

Living room with vaulted ceiling and separate gaming area with large windows for great views also includes a fireplace and TV.

Large primary bedroom & 4-pc ensuite separate from the other 2 large bedrooms and 3 pc bath. All with queen beds.

Oversized separate bunkie with its own private walk out deck & views of the lake for additional guests. Sleeps up to 5 with 3 single bunk beds and 1 double. Desk and TV also included.

There is a walk in beach area for young kids & you can jump off the dock (5-6 feet). Lakeside deck has a sauna & hot tub to unwind and enjoy sunsets and star filled skies! Local shopping in Apsley, Buckhorn & Lakefield. Convenience store 10 min away.

Three different areas for playing tennis or pickle ball close by.

The cottage is beautiful, spacious, and set in on the most wonderful spot on the lake. To see the sunrise and sunset across the open lake was a sight to behold. The property was well maintained. It was pleasant to use the outdoor Sauna and Jacuzzi, and being around the corner on the lake meant the water traffic is quiet and good for kids to play and boat on the water. We are just a short drive from the Petroglyphs and multiple places to hike, as well as right on the Kawartha Highlands if you want to explore, what a beautiful stay! Thank you to Uschi and Rusty who were great hosts and very communicative when we had questions.

Beautiful lakefront spot with sauna!

We were delighted with this cottage. The outdoor areas were top notch. The kids were delighted. It was a great find and we would book it again.

Wonderful Canada Day long weekend

We all had a fantastic stay- 6 adults and 3 kids. Beautiful property, the lake was fantastic for both fishing and swimming. Highly recommend! Will definitely be looking to book again next year !

Beautiful cottage country

The cottage is very spacious with great views of the lake. Great place to sit and relax and enjoy nature. Lake is clear and kids enjoyed fishing right off the dock. Wonderful stay will definitely consider for future stays.

Another Fantastic Family Vacation

Our second time here and this one was as good as the last. Beautiful property, great fishing.. we kept track our one son had over 50 fish in 4 days and the other over 30! Lake was great for swimming, cottage is spacious and well laid out.. we will be back again next year !

Slice of Heaven

We had a perfect stay at this cottage. The hosts were very responsive when we had questions. There was plenty of room for all of us to be together or find our own spot to relax. We swam every day and enjoyed beauty of the well kept property. We would definitely consider visiting again.

Great cottage stay for large group.

Great place. We had a big family group - 2 families of 4 and grandparents. This place was laid out perfectly for what we needed. Plenty of space, lots of sitting and eating areas on and out and big kitchen. Swimming off the dock was great and there was a swim mat o jump off too. I would recommend.

WE CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!!!

Honestly, this has been one of my best experiences renting a cabin. I had the maximum amount of people that this cabin allows and I still felt like there was still room for more! The pictures online do not do it enough justice. We were all amazed at the views, the outdoor space was beautiful and you could tell that a lot of hard work was involved in making it cozy, and perfect for guests. The sauna and hot tub next to the dock was our favourite. They were both easy to use, and the waterfall in the background gave us nice ambience to hang by the dock all day. Inside the cabin, it had high ceilings and a lot of fans for the hot days. The kitchen was spacious and equipped with everything we needed to cook the food we brought. We loved the selection of board games and cards to keep us entertained at night. Lastly the host communicated with us very quickly, and made it easy for us if we had any questions that came up. But everything was so straight forward, we are just looking forward to coming back! Thanks again for having us :) We are very happy.
