This beautiful family-managed 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom 4,000 sq-ft. spacious beach house is just steps away from miles of prime sugar white sand to play on and clear blue waters to play in. The combination of elegance and comfort makes this the perfect place to stay whether you are visiting with a large group or traveling with the kids. The open kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and all utensils, plates, cookware and necessities you'll need to prepare a family meal or romantic dinner. Our spacious living area is perfect for the whole group to hand out after a long day at the beach featuring a built-in Entertainment Center (46" HDTV)! The marble flooring and 12" crown molding gives you a true feeling of quality but in a family friendly environment. The huge master bedroom features multiple beds and a couch sitting area for your comfort and next door is a private bedroom with a queen size bed. Another bedroom with a queen bed is perfect for more privacy. Venture downstairs to the perfect area for kids or numerous guests with two queen beds and two sets of bunk beds.

Spend the day relaxing on the beach, with the private gated access, or at the community pool just 20 steps away, or take advantage of the other exclusive community amenities such as sand volleyball, tennis or the club house. Sunrise and sunset lovers can take in the magnificent 360-degree view from the spacious fourth level martini deck for hours of entertainment

We own and personally manage this house ourselves. We love the layout and design of the house and its surrounding area. Terra Cotta is a family friendly neighborhood and is close to the Big Kahuna’s Water Park, golf, Destin's Boardwalk, shopping centers/outlets and within walking distance to many fine restaurants.

You will be dealing directly with US, the owner, and not a property management company. You definitely won’t get better customer service anywhere!

Great beach house

July 4 th 2019 week stay

The location is great. A short 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The pool and volleyball are straight across the street. The was house was good. The only knock is the A/C doesn’t cool that well upstairs and the refrigerator doesn’t get very cold. It won’t keep me from renting it again. Our family had a great time.

Family vacation

Very satisfied. I probably would put curtains on the 2 bedrooms facing the road. A lot of light came through the little window on the top. You need to get the washing machine fixed upstairs. Other than that it was great. Thanks for a perfect week. Gary

Okay but not what I expected

The property needs a little TLC. Cracked tiles, dated furniture, half broken appliances, and ants. The property has a ton of potential due to the location and size. It's not a bad place to stay but it did not live up to expectations that we had. With a few updates this home can be amazing. As it stands now, there are better properties for the amount spent.

Property is fine for a family who doesn’t mind sharing bathrooms and even the main bedroom (1 king and 2 doubles in the same area). Great location for beach, although there weren’t directions where we had beach access. We did find it. The seven grandchildren loved being across from volleyball, basketball and pool. Our biggest complaint was the size of the kitchen, little space to prep. Floors weren’t clean (black soles). Sand is to be expected. We made a list upon arrival of items that weren’t working. Maintenance did come to fix 2 items. Property owners responded to several emails throughout.

Hi Anthony,Our Family Trip Was Disappointing Due to the Rental PropertyOur family has been visiting Destin for years — it's our go-to vacation spot, and we’ve stayed there nearly ten times. Unfortunately, this year’s trip was not up to the standard we’ve come to expect.The house we rented was very disappointing and not as advertised. Everything inside felt old and poorly maintained, especially the cookware, which was outdated and barely usable. Even worse, two of the three bathrooms had visible mold, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness and health. The balcony was muddy and unsafe to use, with broken lights and an overall neglected feel.When we arrived, a maintenance worker stopped by, and we pointed out that the outdoor trash can was filthy and needed to be cleaned. He agreed, but unfortunately, nothing was done. Also the top washer and dryer didn’t work, the propane tank didn’t have gas, and barely usable remotes.This experience put a damper on what is usually a cherished family tradition. We hope future renters are made aware of these issues, or better yet, that the property is brought up to a livable and safe standard.

I loved that the house was just a short walk from the beach and even closer to the other outdoor amenities (pool, volleyball, basketball, tennis). I also loved that the house had sleeping, eating, and lounging space for all 13 of us. It is a very nice house, but it needs some upkeep. Major issues were that the showerhead in the master bathroom didn't function properly, and the handheld shower head was broken, so it did not attach to the wall. The kids had to share rooms with the adults because there were ants and spiders in the bunkbeds. There was also a thick layer of dust in all of the corners and higher surfaces, and the a/c vents weren't clean. The bed that I slept in sagged in the middle and was very uncomfortable. All in all, the purpose of our trip was to take the kids to the beach, and the house surved our purpose. The kids had a great time.

BEWARE: NOT FOR BIGGER PEOPLE

To start with positives: the house was in great location, the ammenities such as the pool were fantastic and we enjoyed the trip overall. With that said numerous issues with the home came up during our stay: 1) The fridge was not working, the compressor didnt kick on and upon calling the property owner was told it was working before and that we would just have to deal with it and use the backup fridge down the numerous flights of stairs which entailed our party of 10+ walking constantly up and down stairs. This was horrible customer service and we don't appreciate that! 2) numerous issues, including roaches in the downstairs bedroom, doors scraping the floors when opening, old fake fingernails and dorty eyelash on the floor, the mattress sheest were dirty in numerous rooms, and the advertisements for certain rooms were not accurate so we barely had enough room to zccomodate 4 couples. We enjoyed the beach and convenience but we did not enjoy the house fully we wont be booking it again unfortunately sorry!

Good place to stay

The property was great at accommodating our large group. We did have issues with the house as far as items for use being broken and not cleaned well. I did let the property owners know and they informed us that they live out of town and their cleaning crew are suppose to report any maintenance issues and they had not. I would hope that after our issues they check in with them because they made it very clear in their directions how much you would be charged extra for leaving a mess when in my opinion it could have been a LOT cleaner upon arrival. Other than that, we loved the house and was very close to everything we wanted to do!

We had plenty of room for our family get away. We had a problem with the tv and it was replaced during our stay. The kitchen could’ve had a few more essentials like cookie sheets but everything worked great. It was great to walk to the beach!

Destin Gem

For the price, this was one of the best values we have experienced in Destin. Owners were great and responded immediately to any issues that needed attention. It was a short walk to the beach, and we had perfect weather. The next comments are are not negatives - just FYIs as mentioned in other posts. Using the stairs in not an option in this house. They are needed everywhere you want to go. We all felt like we got an extra workout by climbing stairs all day long. The bunk room does not have a private entrance, it's accessed through another bedroom. The couch on the sun porch is a great size and easily sleeps an extra person if needed. Watch the "walk-thru" video carefully to make sure the sleeping/bedding arrangements will work for your family. WE LOVED IT.

Beautiful house

The house is absolutely beautiful and was super easy to check in. This house isn't for elderly though. The stairs up and down all the time will wear your legs out. The light bulbs were out in part of the dining room. The tub on the 2nd floor stayed stopped up after showers and the TV in the bottom floor didn't work.. The distance to the beach is just okay.

Great Location

The property was great and had a wonderful location to the beach and pool amenities. Property managers responded quickly to questions and gave detailed instructions before arrival. Biggest complaints were that the property did not stock any trash bags and only had 1 roll of toliet paper in each of the bathrooms. When you have 12 people staying in a house that just doesn't cut it and those items seemed to usually be stocked in all over our previous vrbos we have stayed at.

Very spacious but needs some attention

There is plenty of room for a large group. We were in Destin for softball nationals, so we were in the house a lot to keep the girls out of the heat. We also planned on cooking dinners a lot in the house. Be prepared to buy spices or salt and pepper. Not that this is the houses responsibility, but I wish we knew that going in. My mother bought a strainer to leave at the house for future guests. There were plenty of pots, but it could use a few frying pans. Make sure to bring disposable utensils as well. The refrigerator took a while to cool down…almost two days. Leave your milk and meat in coolers and slowly add items to the refrigerator to make sure you do not overload it. The patios…have no furniture. We were using dining room chairs to sit outside to enjoy the weather. The top of the house has magnificent views. There were 3 chairs, a broken chair and a table. The second level balcony we couldn’t enjoy due to lack of furniture and the one bedroom’s door not opening. The house has two laundry areas which is awesome. And the mud room downstairs was perfect to keep beach items or beverages. There is also a refrigerator in this space. The house was a quick walk to the beach and directly across the street from the community pool. That was nice. Also a sand volleyball court across the street. Overall it was a great house for the 15 people we had there. The house just needs a little attention.

Family Beach Vacation

The house is spacious and our multigenerational family was pleased with the layout. Our only issue was a recurring power outage that caused some warm nights, interrupted cooking and loss of internet. The owner was responsive and the problem solved on our last day.

Perfect home for our family of 12
