What a cool location! This was perfect for our group of five families with kids ranging from 5-17. The grounds are sprawling enough for kids to run around without worrying about disturbing neighbors, and we loved having access to the pool, pickleball, etc. Just a quick drive to San Marcos and New Braunfels recreation areas.

Everything was great. The property accommodated our group of 21 easily. Everyone particularly enjoyed the blackjack table in the game room and the hot tub outside. When we flipped a breaker the host communicated with us quickly and had us back up and running without delay. Will definitely be back

Hill Country Family Get-away

Lovely, secluded, private location in the hill country not far from interstate 35. Nicely maintained. Plenty of room for my family of 29 including adults and children. Check in time was a later than originally stated, but owner was very accommodating.

Our stay was a wonderful experience. Had trouble with the hot tub and the jets didn’t work in the tub in master bedroom. Just some little things. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it for family reunions. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the activities in the big tent.

Thank you so much for staying with us and for the thoughtful feedback! We’re really glad to hear your group had a wonderful time overall and that the pool and big tent activities were a highlight for everyone, sounds like a great family reunion. We’re sorry you ran into a couple of hiccups with the hot tub and the master tub jets. Those are exactly the kinds of “little things” we want to stay ahead of, and we appreciate you letting us know. We’ll be taking a closer look to make sure everything is working as it should. We truly appreciate the recommendation and would love to host your family again in the future!

Family Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful holiday here. It’s such a beautiful setting and very safe. The children could just roam the property and play. Huge tent where we played pickle ball. Great for a large group! We would definitely come back!

Great Place for a family gathering

The house setup was ideal for us and our 3 grown children and their families. We made good use of the casita for one of the families and the rest of us fit comfortably in the house, With the games, pool, and pickleball court, there were ample activities to keep people of all ages occupied. The location near all of the outdoor activities and restaurants in New Braunfels was ideal. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Absolutely Amazing!!

We took a group of high school seniors down for a graduation trip. We had both houses full of kids! They had a blast! The houses are both beautifully kept! They had everything we needed for our large group. So easy to communicate with owners for any questions we had. We will definitely be booking again!

Good property but with minor issues

We were a group little more than 30 people and the property was nice but the interior seemed like old fashioned. Nice place to hang out with large group and had a good time overall. Pros: Good outside scenic views. Nice places to take pictures. Very spacious outside. Nice place for kids/adults to play next to the guest house. Very fast response communication from the supervisor. Cons: The bigger stove burner in the kitchen didn't work and the maintenance staff were not able to fix it and we had to be there without that burner. Saw a mouse multiple times just roaming around inside the house and the glass area above the kitchen. Called the supervisor and they came and put some mouse traps too but of no use. The grill near the pool was not cleaned properly. The trash bags were not sufficient for our group. There were a couple of neighbor's dogs that showed up on the property and eventually the maintenance staff and the dog owners stopped by to take the dogs away.

Overall the house was a great fit for our family of 18 that stayed. The bunk room you had to go through the master bedroom to get to it which I did not realize. There is a lock on the door to the bunk room from the master bedroom and if you’re in the bunk room, there’s a door that goes to the wraparound porch. From there, you were able to come back inside the house through another door that’s on the wraparound porch, hard to explain. The bunk room was a great area for the kids, lots of beds. The only issue was that the room would get a little warm, but there was a fan available that helped move the air around for The split AC unit. There was not central heat and air in that particular room that I could tell. The main house has two bedrooms, the master bedroom and a bunk room, there is an additional house behind the main house that has three bedroomsThe grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We utilized the pool daily.
