Cozy Family Friendly Stay

We had a great stay, place was all the done and so clean! Very satisfied. We liked the bath and bedrooms on the main level was good for the little kiddos.

Family stay

We are from out of town but have family that live here. We were able to fit 4 adults and 2 kids comfortably for the weekend! This was perfect home to use for a weekend trip.

Great neighborhood

3 adult males on a fishing trip. Great neighborhood. Felt very safe parking the boat and truck in driveway. Clean well equipped house, with pleanty of room for everyone.

Sisters Trip

Our Sisters Weekend was fabulous! We came from several different areas in the state and met up in Michigan for shopping and dining out, and staying up late watching movies, getting facials, sharing memories and laughter! Staying at this property instead of a hotel made our trip perfect! Host was so kind and considerate. Answered all questions quickly and graciously. The property was beautiful and clean! Lots of personal touches making our stay comfortable and worry-free! ❤️

Could not sleep

Most uncomfortable beds we’ve slept on. No doors on upstairs bedrooms and zero privacy WTH. Ran out of toilet paper and coffee after the first day. Living room furniture very uncomfortable. I will say, the shower and water pressure was awesome. Inside cleanliness was good.

Terrible communication

This was not a great experience for us. I messaged the owner the day before check in requesting code access and heard nothing back. Tried messaging several times as we traveled there with a carful of kids, still no reply. We finally arrive and still nothing from the owner. I tried calling the direct number to the owner and was yelled at by a man saying he told VRBO that it’s the wrong number and people keep calling him. At this point, I reached out to VRBO. After a very very lengthy call, and also unable to get a hold of the owner themselves, they put us up in a hotel room for the night and said hopefully they’d get a hold of the owner the next day. I finally received a message from the owner the following morning with the access code. The outside of the house needs some serious TLC- grass overgrown, not very welcoming. Also, every VRBO we’ve ever rented (and there have been MANY), the owner always sends us access in advance as well as a list of house rules, places of interest in the area, closing instructions, Wi-Fi access, etc. we received none of this. Would not rent through this owner again. Very disappointing.
