The perfect home for a quick getaway to beautiful South Haven, Michigan. Our charming home is peaceful and centrally-located close to Lake Michigan. It's a short walk to downtown with great shopping and restaurants. We love the Farmer's market on Saturdays, the cute boutiques and local stores. We have an outdoor fire pit for s’mores and story telling. The kids favorite room is the play room filled with toys! The front porch for enjoying summer mornings and evenings.

The main floor features the living room, dining room, full kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and an enclosed front porch. The second floor features a second bedroom and the main bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a kids play room full of toys!

Everything was great! Clean and well taken care of, and the kitchen was stocked with every kitchen item you could need for cooking meals at tbe home. We walked to the farmers market and our stay was quiet.

This was a very nice place for our "girls" trip. Would also be great for a family. Everything was there that we needed. Lights on the back deck would be our only suggestion. We couldn't find any and wanted to spend evenings out on the deck. But we would definitely come back again.

We had a nice time. Only complaint is the doors don’t latch. Specifically the upstairs bedroom was frustrating because we had a baby that had to nap and the door kept opening

We absolutely loved our stay! We've been coming to South Haven for years and this was our favorite place we've stayed. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable, and in a great location. It was incredibly accommodating for our family with lots of thoughtful amenities around the house. Our kids loved the playroom. The beds were very comfortable and the primary bedroom/bathroom had tons of natural light. We would highly recommend this house to anyone!

Can't say enough about this place! Second time around and so easy to deal with the owner's. We will do this again next year I'm sure. Super clean and kitchen all ready to go with a nice gas grill on deck.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul. The house is clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. It’s a very short drive to either North or South beach as well as all the shops and restaurants on Phoenix St. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you would need.Overall, a great place to stay in a lovely town.

Getaway to South Haven

We had a great time in South Haven! This house is so close to everything downtown and the beaches. I didn’t realize there was not a dishwasher or washer and dryer, which was a little disappointing because we had 5 kids with us. But we made do. We would definitely stay her again!

Wonderful stay!!

We loved the cottage and the stay. Erika could not have been a better host. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of amenities - plenty of toys for the kids, a great coffee maker and kitchen equipment, beach supplies, a grill and a great deck for enjoying the beautiful summer days!! Also I want to comment on how comfortable and clean everything was - it really shows that Erika cares about her guests and provides the house with everything so so so clean!

Perfect home away from home

Highly recommend this home! My family and I stayed here and it is everything you need in a home plus more. The house was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for our week stay. The beds are very comfortable and our son enjoyed the play room full of toys and puzzles. Nice neighborhood with a short drive to the beach. The host was very communicative and accommodating and we didn’t have been happier with our stay here. Highly recommend this home and we will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Lovely house

We had a great 3 night stay here. On past visits to South Haven we have been closer to the Main Street but found this location perfectly fine. The walk to the main drag was a pleasant 15 mins and another 15 to North beach. House was well equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella - plus other toys. Like another reviewer we mistakenly thought there would be a washer (our mistake/assumption - no mention in posting) but we easily got laundry done at laundrette around the corner.

Beach trip

We really enjoyed the area of town and how close it was to walk to the hot spots. Quiet neighborhood too n safe The house was cute n charming. But few things were very outdated or old looking n falling apart on,inside. The bathroom on,lower level wasnt great. Water pressure ok. Beds were just ok too as far ss comfort. But overall, cute n grrat part of town, but not 10 min walk to beach...it takes longer to walk to beach. Better to drive to beach

I wish you would have communicated with us about anything falling apart - this is the first time anyone mentioned it. We send our handyman right away and he tightened up the hand towel racks. We are definitely looking to continue to update the home including a deck in the near future.

Wonderful Vacation, a couple minor hiccups

This was our first family vacation with our 9 month old granddaughter, and overall Casa Azul gave us a week to remember! The house has everything a family with children needs - except a washing machine. I was taken aback when we arrived that the washer was no longer available since we specifically chose the house because that was an amenity. When I reached out to the owner I was told that they removed guest access because a renter broke it. Understandable, but frustrating to have that change between renting and arriving. One other item I want to point out to future renters - the bathroom photos are kind of misleading. The bathroom shown is beautiful, no issues! BUT, it’s an en suite to the master bedroom, and 1) there is NO door separating the bedroom and bathroom, and 2) the crib and toddler bed are in the master bedroom. So, realistically, everyone outside of the master bedroom is sharing the TINY first floor bath in the evenings when the baby is asleep, or if you’d just like privacy.

A washer and dryer is NOT part of the amenities and their are not offered to guests, feel free to check the the listing. I'm sorry you misread the listing or possibly booked the wrong house.

It was a nice rental. The beds were really comfortable. It was nice and cool because it was hot the week we were there unfortunately there was no dishwasher, washer and dryer or garbage disposal of all the items that would’ve been nice to have the garbage disposal and dishwasher, but the beds were really comfortable.

The items you mentioned are not included in the rental, it's important to read the description of a home before renting it. We did find a mirror missing from its place in the bathroom, some artwork taken down and the wall damage in the main bedroom.

The property had everything we needed and more. Lots of space, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and comfy beds. We brought our new baby, and for sure want to come back when she is older to enjoy the playroom and all the games! Lovely property all around.

This house was in a good location, convenient driving distance to the main part of town with restaurants and shopping. Clean house with an easy check-in process. Good communication from the owners. Off street parking. The kids (age 5 and 7) loved the upstairs playroom and bunk beds! Beds were comfortable.
