I haven't used a lot of VRBO, but this is by far the nicest one I have stayed in. The layout of the house is really comfortable, and it has different living spaces throughout so you won't feel like you are all forced into one room. House was well stocked with all the amenities you could possibly want.Would stay here again if I need to be back in South Bend.

Thomas, We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. You were an excellent guest, and we would happily welcome you back anytime.
Came down for the weekend to visit a friend and check out Art Beat. Great place to stay and walking distance to the festival. Note: the bathroom in the basement is connected to the bedroom but doesn't have a door to separate the bathroom from the bedroom. Not a huge deal since we had a couple stay down there but something to note when planning where to put people.
Nice home in nice neighborhood. Communication with manager when we got locked out was slow and the night was cold. We did finally get the code for a key lockbox toget back in.

You are correct the home is in a nice neighborhood. Your allegations about slow communication are inaccurate. After entering the home, you haphazardly meddled with the alarm system. The alarm system was off prior to your arrival, and you tampering with it, activated it alerting the security company causing all sorts of trouble. After several unnecessary phone calls and messages, the alarm was turned off again. Referencing the time stamps on the messages, one can see, you messaged us and we responded and had the alarm off within 2 minutes. Then you negligently left the back door opened, setting off yet again another alert, despite the instructions to keep the door closed. After you had been in the home for a day and had entered and exited several times; you locked yourself out. Despite clear instructions sent to you before your stay, included both in the listing and in a message, your blatant disregard caused you the trouble again. Referencing the time stamps again on the messages, one can clearly see the time between us receiving your message and us responding was 11 minutes and that is with us being in an area with poor cell reception. You negligently put the front door keypad into lockdown mode, thus inhibiting anyone from entering the home for several minutes. These self-inflicted hardships could have easily been prevented had you read and respected the instructions and helpful tips sent to you prior to your stay.
Place was clean, well stocked and convenient location to Notre dame campus. It would have been nice to have a toaster. Also, I’m not sure the house can be listed as sleeps 8 when there are 3 beds (2 doubles, 1 queen) and the 4th is an air mattress. Overall, house decor is fun and we had a great weekend. Hosts were very responsive if needed to be reached.
