Luminous Hideaway & Restful Garden Retreat

Welcome to Mooncrest Cottage, a peaceful, bright and airy, minimalist hideaway retreat tucked at the back of our property, behind the main house.

This is an owner-occupied property, and to reach the cottage, guests wander through a gated, shared front yard (monitored by security cameras). The yard is home to our shy, free-roaming cats who make the space their serene sanctuary and safe haven.

Because the cottage yard isn’t fully fenced and connects to the main house, we cannot accommodate dogs—this keeps the cats safe and the area peaceful for everyone.

The cottage features a separate upstairs office accessible via exterior stairs. The office bed linens are provided only for a 3rd guest or for an additional fee.

Enjoy a peaceful garden with hammock, loungers, seating, and BBQ—a quiet spot to relax, read, or soak up the sun, with twinkling lights adding charm both inside and out. The neighborhood is very quiet, making the outdoor space feel like your own serene retreat.

Location: Just a 9-minute walk to Goodwin’s Market and another 5 minutes to the lake trail, with charming restaurants and shops within 10–15 minutes.

Important: Snow chains are required for all vehicles November through April.
