We enjoyed the house and its location. Would definitely rebook here in the future! Location was very close to the beach, LOVED the porch swing, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and more.
Very much enjoyed this property, the location to stores and distance to the beach were very nice. The layout of the home provides ample room to visit with family. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable.
Cabin was perfect for our lil family! Easy check in/out. Quick walk to the beach. Very clean. Cute decorations in the cabin. Will definitely stay here again.
My Dad and I spent Easter weekend here with our small dogs. The fenced in yard is perfect if you’re bringing pets. The house has a nice floor plan and is a short distance from the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

roaches/bed bugs
there were roaches everywhere and after stay notice red bug bites that look like bed bugs
The property was exactly as described and decorated so cute. Perfect size for a small family. The kitchen was well-stocked, bathrooms were nice, and the bunk beds were great for the kids. Great location, as the beach was only a 3 or so minute walk and less on a golf cart. The gate at the top of the stairs was a nice bonus to keep the dogs AND the 2yo on the deck without having to constantly monitor, and the fenced in yard was perfect size for the dogs to take a bathroom break.
The only issue was the the toilet in the main room. It ran continuously because the flush valve is worn out. I reported it but never got a response.

Me and a friend came here for a fishing trip. We came in the first night and there were roaches all over the island in the kitchen. We attempted to eat chips and salsa as we settled for the night and within minutes the roaches were after the salsa. We avoided coming to the house unless it was to sleep as there were no other places to stay on such short notice. We have had to empty our bags outside before bringing them in our own homes out of fear of the roaches wanting to move with us. These roaches were not on the listing as items included in the home.

Hey Erik, what an interesting review from a guy who received complimentary early check in and to whom I reached out to on 3 different occasions checking in if there were any issues, etc. I've lived in TX a long time - never had roaches attack my chips & salsa, but hey, there's a first time for everything. The house is on quarterly pest control and, being Texas, if a pest does make it's way inside a simple text or call would have been all it took for us to resolve it. But, no, much better to make up a ridiculous review as though you slept while taking artillery fire from invading roaches as though your words, ludicrous though they may be, don't affect people's livelihood. Have the day you deserve!
Pros: Close to beach, clean, accepts pets, close to Big Store.Cons: Beds were VERY uncomfortable, full size bunk mattresses were the old spring type, with the wooden bunk base it made it difficult to get out of, master bed was hard, we ended up sleeping on the recliners the 2nd night of our stay. We did not try the single top bunk mattresses.Guest bathroom - had loose tiles at entrance with a board screwed down to hold them in place, the door would not shut all the way because of one tile, we removed it and set it aside so we could shut the door, the screws were loose on the board and I got a nasty cut on the heel of my foot from it. I notified the property manager who advised she would have maintenance fix that.Would consider staying here again if the mattresses are updated and repairs made to threshold of guest bathroom.Jessica was very responsive to messages.
