Gorgeous Wide Waterfront Views on Tarpon Bay, Walk to the Beach!
This tip-lot home is at the end of a cul-de-sac facing Landmark Bay, one of the most sought-after wide-water views on Marco Island. The home is designed for indoor-outdoor living, with sliding glass doors from three different rooms leading to a large, screened lanai and heated pool.
A public entrance to the widest beach on the island is a 6-minute walk from our home. Tigertail Beach, outstanding for bathing, birding and shelling, is a five minute drive and South Marco Beach, also wide, is a ten minute drive. Rookery Bay bird sanctuary is a short drive up Route 951. And for golfers, there are several signature courses close by.
For those who like to fish, Landmark Bay is called Tarpon Bay because it shelters baby tarpon year-round. It is not unusual to occasionally see four and five-foot tarpon splashing about just off the patio dock.
Landmark Bay also hosts a variety of small fish (snapper, sheepshead porgies, cravalle jacks, ladyfish) and an occasional snook coming to hook. Also, dolphins cruise through the bay on a regular basis, popping to the surface in their acrobatic display.
In addition, there is much bird life on the bay, including many pelicans, herons, egrets, ibis, spoonbills and, of course, seagulls. On occasion, you might spot an osprey, hawk or owl. There also are colonies of burrowing owls on Marco Island.
The single-story 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home has a 165-foot seawall with a 20 x 18-foot patio dock jutting into the bay. There is an attractive living room for entertaining, a full, formal dining room, and family room with tile floors throughout.
For entertainment, there is a 46-inch HDTV and a Sony Blu-ray player in the family room. Each bedroom also has a TV.
There are great water views from the Master bedroom, dining room, kitchen, living room and one of the second bedrooms, There also is a Comcast DVR that allows archiving of current Comcast TV programs and movies for later viewing. Secure high-speed Internet service is provided throughout the property
Most of your time probably will be spent outdoors on the screened lanai, which is furnished with dining table and chairs and a breakfast bar, which can be served directly from the kitchen. On the lanai is a love seat, two lounge chairs and a small table. It's a good place to read a book and/or watch the children while they are in the pool.
For those who love the sun, the patio dock will be the draw while at home. There are four chaise lounges on the lanai. And fishing from the dock, Ahhhh!
For you and your family's safety a Ring security system has been installed on the front, right and left sides of the outside perimeter of the house. Please note guests do not have access to the garage and one of the two closets located in the master bedroom.
Hope you enjoy your stay!!

My family had a great vacation staying here. We saw dolphins everyday next to the wall by the dock. The house was well equipped with baby gear and beach essentials. Chris the host was easliy accessible to ask questions. My family would definitely stay here again.
Very beautiful and serene location, overlooking a quiet channel. Regularly saw dolphins feeding near the sea wall as well as ospreys and brown pelicans. The house is less than a 10 minute walk to a public beach access.
Our family enjoy this home very much. It is in walking distance to the beach, which is so great. Neighborhood and neighbors very nice. The view in the house is spectacular. We all enjoyed the pool day and night. Some fished and caught many fish. The host was very responsive to all our questions. The house could use some fixing up. It has mostly everything you could need. There is no access to garage. Our family would stay at this home again.
The property was good, and the Location is great. We enjoyed the warm pool, and watching dolphins & pelicans out the back. And, it's an easy walk to the beach.
Our stay was wonderful! Plenty of space inside and out for adults and kids. The location is great and everyone enjoyed fishing from the dock and watching dolphins. This rental is definitely one we would stay at again.
My husband, son and I had a great week in Marco. We came for many years in a row but haven’t been able to visit the past few years. We loved the home and location. We saw dolphins every day and enjoyed the expansive water view. Chris (homeowner) was very communicative and provided any needed information. We’ll definitely be back!
We loved it here. There are beautiful views from the deck and it’s such a quick walk to the beach. It’s great for couples because two of the bedrooms are fairly equitable.
This home was thecperfect getaway fir our family. It is an older home but well mauntained, clean, and had all the necessary items to make our stay enjoyable. The host was very responsive to any questions we had prior to and during our stay. It is a very easy walk to the beach. We even walked to breakfast, dinners, mini golf, and ice cream. I would definitely return to this home. Highly recommended.
This is our second time staying at this property. It never disappoints. The property owner is pleasant and easy to communicate with! Great location! We saw dolphins every day! We caught a lot of fish, enjoyed collecting shells and sunrises ans sunsets on the beach. We can’t wait to come back!
We really enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal, the house is great, though a little dated. Chris was very helpful and expedient. Easy walk to the beautiful beach. I would recommend this house
Wonderful place to stay in southwest Florida! The house is spacious with lots of amenities. The view of the canal is gorgeous. We had a great time relaxing, exploring town, visiting the beaches, and watching dolphins jumping in the canal!
We didn’t want to leave! Loved the pool, which was heated to a perfect temperature, and cleaned weekly while we were there. We enjoyed the lovely water views from every window at the back of the house. The house is in an ideal location for walking to restaurants, the beach, shopping, ice cream shops and even hair and nail salons. The house and rooms are exactly as pictured.
The stay was amazing. We have always stayed in condos in Marco but switched it up this year to have better access to a pool. The house and location are awesome. Dolphins swam by every day and the whole family had a blast in the pool all week. We will definitely be back soon.
