Cozy beach house within popular Point O' Woods beach association that can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests.

Point O' Woods is a lovely, gated beach community in Old Lyme, CT. It features tennis courts, a basketball court, playground, boat marina and a private beach which are all within a 5-minute walk from the house.

The house includes an enclosed front porch, large deck (built in 2021) with gas grill and dining area, outdoor shower and a private backyard with firepit which all provide plenty of space to spread out for the entire family. We also have a washer & dryer, fresh linens and plenty of beach equipment.

The house offers enough parking for 4 cars with additional parking available down by the marina (5 minute walk). It's a perfect community for walking, running and biking. We also have a golf cart available for rent as well.

Most places the pictures end up looking nicer than the house. This place was the reverse! The house was very nice and bigger than the pictures made it look. Quiet neighborhood. Nice place to be for a long holiday weekend!

Charming beach house

Wonderful rental experience with lovely decor, and very responsive owners. The house offered so many great features- multiple beds with abundant towels, beach supplies and extras like kayaks, golf cart as well as fun backyard with fire pit and outdoor tv. Great location!

Great beach house

We had a wonderful week and this comfortable house. Lots of space inside and out- great deck and backyard for family dinners and relaxing. Wonderful beach community lovely for walking and exploring. Lots of fun for adults and kids! Hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful week!

Return to POW

We're a family who have vacationed at POW Beach for many years. We became disappointed in the rental homes that were available until we found this one. This wonderful house had updated conveniences and included linens, AC, a fantastic firepit, excellent deck / furniture and the list goes on! Chris and Jenna were fantastic at communicating and we even were able to rent their golf cart. We were all very satisfied to be able to return to our favorite spot on the CT shore!!! Hope to return soon!
