Lovely view of the porch, excellent house to share with others -- every bedroom had its own bathroom which was great. Overall, the house has a nice layout, roomy dining room, cozy living room. We were there in early fall and we could have used more bedding supplies (pillows, blankets, etc). Host was very responsive when one toilet wasn't working -- they sent a repair person over right away (on a Saturday). Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We really enjoyed the cabin, especially with the New Orleans decor. Felt like home. The TV needs to be repaired (kept shutting off) and an outdoor fire pit would have made it more comfortable to enjoy the balcony views. Otherwise, we loved it. Very homey and cozy.

Great place for family and friends to just kick back and enjoy the mountain air and view. A cozy mountain cabin throughout, with full 10ft covered porches which adds to overall living space. Lower level with pool table and hot tub is nice, but pool table needs fixing or replaced. The kitchen was well appointed for any level of cook, plus the gas grill was used almost every day. The tank was almost empty, and the host had a new tank delivered same day. Would defiantly recommend if you like being just far enough off the beaten path, but still convenient to town.

The house was wonderful and very accommodating for our large group of adults (7 total). The property was clean and the space was very "livable". The only challenge was the road had been washed out by Hurricane Helene last year, and portions of the road is still being repaired. The road was passable, but it we had to be more cautious in some of our vehicles.

We had a wonderful time at Journeys End! It was truly a winter wonderland. We had a good bit of snow and loved every second of it. The house was very homey, it has a true cabin feel with all the beautiful wood. The house had all the things we could have asked for or needed during our stay. The games were a nice treat for my family! We had a little issue with the hot tub, tv, and lower fireplace upon arrival but with a few phone calls they sent out a maintenance man who was very hospitable and kind. He fixed all of our issues very quickly. My only critique would be the tv, the cables were loose and it kept turning off and on randomly. So that might need some attention just to get things in working order for the next guest. The house is a bit of a trek from main road but it is a pretty drive. Being from Florida and the snow a few areas were concerning but we managed just fine. We would recommend this cabin to others. Thank you again!!
