We are located in a gated community on 9 acres. It is a quiet environment where all you only hear birds singing and breezes blowing through the trees. When you drive up to our home called Shadowlands, you will instantly be in awe of the peaceful nature surrounding you, spectacular views and magnificent home awaiting you. There is parking for 2 vehicles next to the house just a few steps away from the main living area and additional parking on the upper driveway. It is a well maintained both inside and outside. There is a spacious great room and dining room with a chef’s kitchen, 4 large bedrooms including 2 master suites and bonus bunk room (sleeps 4 maximum 165 lbs per bunk) for a total of 12 sleeping spaces. King beds in 2 master suites, king bed in 3rd bedroom and twins in the 4th bedroom. All bedrooms have connecting bathrooms. Main living floor has a half bath adjacent to great room, dining and kitchen.
There are decks on the main level and lower level giving you access to not only spectacular views, but outdoor dining and grilling on provided gas grill. Ample outside seating and access to ground level fire pit. Large screen televisions on every floor, cable and Wifi available. There is a lovely memorial garden with seating including a swing, that leads to walking trails. There is a natural spring along one of the trails for anyone looking for adventure in the woods. Located in Vilas NC just outside Boone NC with quick access to skiing areas as well as hiking, fishing and activities for all seasons and all family members. There are many wonderful restaurants close by, Access to washer and dryer on 2 floors as well as gas fireplace in great room on the main floor.
Kitchen and dining area will meet all of your needs with gas range and all large and small appliances that you might need including Kuerig coffee maker, Breville toaster oven, Cuisenart food processor, Kitchen aid mixer, pizza maker, blender and more. Dining room table seats 8 and adjoining counter seats 4. It is tastefully decorated and very inviting with comfortable seating inside and outside. We are sticklers for keeping our home clean and continue to make improvements every year. The reviews we get from guests are highly rated.
