Relax beside the year-round trout stream, gather around the outdoor fire pit, or enjoy quiet mornings listening to the creek from the sunroom. The property offers plenty of space to unwind while still being close to the best of Nelson County.

Outdoor lovers will enjoy easy access to George Washington National Forrest directly across the road, offering hiking, wildlife viewing, and hunting. The home is only 4 miles (about 10 minute drive) from Crabtree Falls, one of the most popular hikes in Virginia.

The area is also known for the Nelson 151 brewery and wine trail, with several breweries , wineries, and restaurants just minutes away. Wintergreen Resort is only 12 miles away, offering skiing, mountain biking, golf, and scenic Blue Ridge views.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash and put away dishes or load into dishwasher and start it. Walk through the house and make sure you have everything that you brought.
Turn off lights, set thermostat to auto/auto, take out the trash and put into trash cans in the shed. If you used the fire pit area please make sure it’s straightened up for the next guest.
If you moved any furniture please return to its original place. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you again. Safe Travels
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please place dirty dishes into dishwasher before leaving. Please do NOT leave fire pit unattended while burning.
Your dog should be friendly and house trained. Dogs that utilize pee pads are NOT allowed.
Your dog must be supervised by you at all times or crated if left alone. You will be charged for any damage caused by your dog.
