The house was perfect for my husband and I! I would rent it again in a heartbeat. Communication with the host was great and so easy. It was a cozy house and location to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops was excellent.

Nice place

Great place and location. 1 block from the beach and grocery store/gift shop across the street. 10+/- minute walk from many great tourist destinations, and short drives to many other attractions. Having a washer and dryer was very convenient!

My stay

Was a good stay however never could connect to Wi-Fi so I could not work, there was no access to wash clothes, no broom to sweep up sand so that was frustrating to walk around in sand all the time, I arrived one hour early and was denied access so I think I should have been given access an hour early but it was clean and great access to beach just think if your going to leave laundry soap then we should be able to wash , and we should be able to sweep and we paid good money so I think internet should have worked however manager was trying real hard to get it fixed I was finally able to log on but we decided to leave early

Jessica, thank you for your review. We are glad you were able to enjoy the stay but are sorry you ran into a few issues! We wish we would have known about the Wi-Fi, and not having a broom as we have team members ready on standby to help resolve issues like this upon arrival! We didn't receive any calls from you while you were here! Next time, please use the 24/7 hotline that is repeatedly included in your arrival information to contact us for anything you may need to make your Beach Getaway perfect! Thank you!

This cottage was very clean. I did think this unit had a washer and dryer. Also the water pressure is pretty poor. Otherwise the unit was perfect and we had a lovely trip. It is in a very walkable area with very quick beach access. There is a store extremely close by for last minute essentials. The unit was well appointed with basic cooking essentials and plenty of nearby restaurants for dine out or delivery.

Thank you for your review. While no additional comments were included, we’re glad we were able to connect with you during your stay. We understand how browsing multiple listings on VRBO can start to blur together, and it’s easy to mix up properties and their amenities. To clarify, this home does not have pool access and has not been advertised as such—the photos and listing details accurately reflect a charming, standalone beach home in a highly walkable location—close to local shops, restaurants, and just a short stroll to the beach. We appreciate the opportunity to address the housekeeping concerns during your visit and provide compensation for that inconvenience. This home continues to be a great option for guests seeking a comfortable, budget-friendly beach getaway with a relaxed cottage feel in a prime location. We’d love the opportunity to host you again and are always happy to help you find a property that better matches your preferences for a future stay—pool included.

If the rating doesn’t reflect your overall experience, we’d be grateful if you’d consider updating it. Either way, you’re always welcome to share any feedback with us directly—it helps us continue improving and better serve you and future guests.
