Welcome to ‘Sea Pearl’!

This newly constructed 4BR/4BA luxury home features 3 MASTER bedrooms each with King bed and private bathroom and sleeps up to 12 total guests.

The open living area is comfortably furnished with down-filled loveseat and sofa with Queen sleeper option, a large flatscreen TV with streaming channels, tray ceilings and Gulf views. The living room opens to a large, covered and furnished deck overlooking the private swimming pool, the perfect space to enjoy the sparking Gulf views while you relax in the shade. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a family meal, all new stainless-steel appliances, single and 12 cup drip coffee maker and bar seating for 4. The nearby dining table seats up to 6.

The first of two Gulf-facing Master bedrooms, The West Master with King bed and TV has a large private bathroom with double vanity, soaking tub and glass shower stall. The East Gulf-facing Master bedroom has a King bed, TV and private bathroom with shower/tub combination.

The third King Master bedroom has a TV and private bathroom with shower/tub combination and the fourth bedroom offers a double bunk bed (double on top/double on bottom), TV and has access to a hall bathroom with shower/tub combination.

Outdoor amenities include a private swimming pool with an expansive outdoor lounge space, a fire pit, fish cleaning sink, park-style charcoal grill and picnic table. Outdoor games include Jumbo 4-to-Score game board, cornhole and ladder toss. Bonus features include an enclosed outdoor storage room and a shaded outdoor lounge/hang-out area with large, flat screen TV. Enjoy plenty of shade in the under-house concrete parking pad with additional space in the driveway for your boat or trailer.

Beach access is a quick 1-2 minute walk to a sandy beach path located right next to the property. The bike path can be found across the street from the home and is an easy way to explore the Island or to take a leisurely bicycle ride toward the State Park. Make sure to stop in at the St. George Light and Lighthouse Housekeeper’s Museum, an 8-minute bicycle ride from the property.

The house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The pool and outdoor space were wonderful. The master bathroom vanity (right) had no hot water. The hot water in the house was not sufficient for six adults. The center ceiling fan on the front porch is not in working order. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will definitely return.

Exceeded expectations

Although our stay was cut short by Helene, this property is AMAZING and we cannot wait to go back. The property is very well cared for, has everything you need and more! The location is wonderful with a path right across the street all the way to the beach.

It was clean and fresh and had the basics of what you would need to start your vacation. We only complain and unfortunately a big complaint, s that the new mattress box springs on every bed is extremely squeaky so much so that every move makes loud squeaks that would wake up your partner. Besides that it was perfect.

Clean and a lot of amenities

Clean and a lot of amenities. The beds were squeaky and not super comfortable for us, but there was a ton of room! There were a lot of plates, silverware, etc, but no oven mitts for cooking. The pool is really nice and clean, but it is on the east side of the house and gets blocked from the sun after lunch, which make it a little on the cold side to swim later in the season.

We looked at all the options available, and settles on Sea Pearl. We're so glad we did! The house was very new and clean with all the amenities you could ask for. We love the layout of the house, and the location was great!

Nice Place

Proximity to all things on SGI was great. The house is new without a doubt, but the furniture has already taken some heavy use and wear n tear. Several pool furniture pieces are falling apart and chairs were unsafe to sit in, even for children. The beds are very uncomfortable, and the furniture creaks. We couldn't figure out what was making the beds feel so hot at night, until the last few days we realized it's the mattress covers. Some mattress toppers would help the overall bed feel more comfortable and definitely changing those mattress covers to some breathable or cooling fabric. The house struggles to stay cool, so make sure you're closing doors behind you. The house is big, all guests will have privacy without a doubt. Microwave didn't work when were there (but a small countertop was provided), and the dishwasher sometimes had to be ran twice.

Great floorplan for families

The floor plan with the 4 bedrooms all on one level and each with their own bathrooms was perfect for our group of 11. Close proximity to the beach and the pool was a welcome reprieve from the beach in the late afternoon! Only suggestion would be the beds in all the rooms were squeaky and a tad uncomfortable for all of us so maybe mattress toppers might be an option?? Other than that we would definitely stay here agai. Which is the biggest compliment I can give in a review!

The Sea Pearl had some great aspects! It is a beautiful home with lots of parking, a huge outdoor area by the pool and each bedroom having a bath is amazing!! Especially with multiple families or couples. We had one tiny issue with a door and Forgotten Shores was VERY responsive and came out to fix the issue very quickly. Our only complaint were the mattresses and pillows. They were very worn, old mattresses and very cheap pillows and linens. All of the adults woke up stiff or with back aches daily lol, so I think the mattresses are in much need of replacement. Besides that issue, the rest of the home was A+!

Fun Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Sea Pearl. It was very clean and well prepared for our arrival. They were very accommodating to my requests prior to booking which was greatly appreciated. Though we would book again we probably would not choose that location merely due to proximity to the beach. It was a short walk and completely manageable for us but definitely not a 3 minute walk and bringing beach gear back and forth was a bit much. We loved the layout of the home it was just the location we would choose differently next time. The main road was a bit busy too and the pool was on the side of the house, so there was consistent road noise. There is a great semi fenced back yard and maybe the pool would have been better placed on that side, but hindsight is 20/20. Still a wonderful stay and we LOVE SGI so we will be back! Thanks again!
